All applications submitted to the school (directly or via express fax) during the admission period (each admission period lasts 20 days) have the same admission value, regardless of whether they are submitted earlier or later. The admission principle of universities is to consider candidates' scores (including regional and target priority points, if any) from high to low until the required admission quota is met. After the application submission period ends, the school will compile the applications and begin to consider admission from high to low. The basis for admission is the candidate's score, not whether the candidate submitted the application earlier or later. Therefore, even if you submit your application later than other candidates, but your score is within the school's admission threshold, you will still be admitted.

I would like to ask if the university admission based on the transcript is considered one of the four wishes? For example, if I submit NV1 to the University of Science and Technology, can I still submit my transcript application to another school during the NV1 admission period? If so, is there a limit to the number of schools? If a school considers both the national high school exam results and the transcript, can I submit my NV1 application and my transcript application to that school? (B.D.)

Transcripts are a separate admission form for each school approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. Therefore, admission based on transcripts is not considered one of the four options for admission based on national high school results. For example, you can use the certificate of results (form No. 1) to apply to the University of Technology while applying to another university at the same time.

For the admission of high school transcripts, most schools only require notarized copies of transcripts, not the originals, so you can apply to many schools at the same time without any restrictions. Therefore, candidates can apply for admission by both national high school results and transcripts to the same school.

When taking the national high school exam for university admission, will candidates in Region 1 get 1.5 priority points added to their university admission score? How is regional priority determined? (Vu Ba Tran)

Hello. Although there are many changes in the entrance exam method this year, the regional priority policy when considering university and college admission remains the same as previous years. If you study and graduate in Region 1 according to regulations, you will be given 1.5 priority points when considering university admission. Candidates in Region 1 are given 1.5 priority points, Region 2-NT 1 point, Region 2 0.5 point and HSPT-KV3 are not entitled to regional priority points. The method for determining the priority areas is as follows: Candidates who continuously study and graduate from high school in a region will enjoy priority according to that region. If during the three years of high school, they transfer schools, the region where they study longer will enjoy priority according to that region. If each year they study at one school or half the time at one school, half the time at another school, they will graduate in which region and enjoy priority according to that region.

However, there are some subjects that enjoy regional priority according to permanent residence. Including: students of ethnic boarding schools; students of preparatory schools and classes; students of resource classes opened according to decisions of ministries, ministerial-level agencies or provincial People's Committees. Students with permanent residence in: communes in regions I, II, III in ethnic and mountainous areas in the period 2012 - 2015; communes with special difficulties in coastal and island areas in the period 2013 - 2015, communes with special difficulties, border communes, safe zone communes in the investment area of Program 135 in 2014 and 2015 if studying high school in a location in a district or town with the above communes.

Military personnel and public security officers sent to take the exam, if stationed for 18 months or more in a region, will enjoy priority according to that region or according to their permanent residence before enlistment, depending on which region has higher priority; if less than 18 months, they will enjoy priority according to the region according to their permanent residence before enlistment.
