Faculty of Nursing
Established in 2016, the Faculty of Nursing at Dai Nam University is committed to training Bachelor's-level nurses with strong professional competencies, effective communication skills, and a positive work attitude and motivation. Graduates are well-prepared to take on and successfully fulfill their duties at public and private healthcare institutions both domestically and internationally.

Outstanding features
Distinctive features of the training program: Development of a nursing curriculum based on ASEAN competency standards, tailored to the context of disease patterns and Vietnam's cultural and social needs. Practical assessment using Dave's skill evaluation scale through the OSPE station-based exam format, a method widely applied by international nursing universities.
Nursing faculty lecturers are professionally trained at reputable nursing education institutions, such as Mahidol University (Thailand), Maastricht University (Netherlands), Kaohsiung Medical University (Taiwan), Hanoi Medical University, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Nam Dinh University of Nursing, and more.
A modern Skill-lab system meeting international standards ensures the teaching of basic nursing skills.
Over 50 affiliated hospitals provide students with extensive practical training, internship opportunities, and wide-ranging job prospects.
100% of students are connected with employers and secure employment even before graduation. This outcome is the result of a practical, hands-on training approach and the university’s close collaboration with reputable hospitals and medical institutions both domestically and internationally.
Students are required to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in nursing techniques, as assessed using Dave’s psychomotor domain taxonomy through the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) – an evaluation method widely adopted by international nursing universities. For theoretical foundation subjects, the university assesses students’ knowledge using Bloom’s taxonomy.
Nursing students at Dai Nam University also have the opportunity to enhance their skills and obtain international professional certifications, such as Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care and Disability), Certificate IV in Ageing Support, and Certificate IV in Health Administration.

The faculty members of the Faculty of Nursing are well-trained at prestigious institutions both in Vietnam and abroad, such as Mahidol University (Thailand), Maastricht University (Netherlands), Kaohsiung Medical University (Taiwan), and Hanoi Medical University. In addition, clinical instructors are seasoned experts from major departments such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, and Pediatrics at leading hospitals, including Viet Duc Hospital, Saint Paul Hospital, and Thanh Nhan Hospital. Notably, 100% of the lecturers have strong foreign language skills, and many teach in English, enabling students to access specialized knowledge aligned with international standards.
