In addition to basic sciences and foreign languages, DNU Nursing students acquire knowledge in fundamental medicine, basic nursing, health and environment, nursing pharmacology, nursing management, healthcare organization and management, psychology and medical ethics, infection control, rehabilitation, traditional medicine, internal medicine nursing, surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, critical care nursing, community nursing,.. Students are equipped with foundational and in-depth professional nursing knowledge, as well as social sciences.

Nursing is a core training discipline at Dai Nam University. After nearly 10 years of delivering a distinctive training program, the Nursing Department at Dai Nam University has established its reputation and brand, becoming a trusted destination for thousands of students across the country.
Training program
The Nursing training program at Dai Nam University is developed in accordance with ASEAN standards, with over 80% content alignment with the programs of leading nursing universities in the region, such as Mahidol University (Thailand), Osaka University (Japan), and others.
The program comprises 125 credits, including 17 credits of general knowledge, 19 credits of field-specific knowledge, 10 credits of discipline-group knowledge, 69 credits of major-specific and supplementary knowledge, and 10 credits for internship and graduation. Practical training time has increased from 30% to over 50%. Graduates meet both domestic and international recruitment demands.

Starting salary after graduation: Approximately 8-10 million VND per month, or higher if working at private hospitals. Particularly, nursing students from DNU working in Japan can earn around 40 million VND per month.
