Established in 2020, the Faculty of Medicine at Dai Nam University was founded with the goal of training general practitioners equipped with comprehensive knowledge and clinical skills, along with innovative thinking, to contribute to improving community healthcare. With new development orientations, the faculty is building a team of lecturers who are leading experts and highly experienced doctors. The faculty ensures practical training opportunities for students through active collaboration with major hospitals.
The goal of the Faculty of Medicine is to become a reputable and high-quality medical training institution in Northern Vietnam, offering a standardized curriculum comparable to that of public medical universities. In addition to providing specialized medical knowledge, the faculty places strong emphasis on the holistic development of students by enhancing their foreign language proficiency, soft skills, positive attitude, discipline, and lifelong habits of health training and self-care. These core values not only help students build solid professional expertise but also equip them with the adaptability and sustainable development mindset needed for a successful medical career.
The medical training program is designed with an integrated approach, combining theoretical knowledge with professional practice. The teaching methodology incorporates lectures, hands-on practice, clinical case studies, and competency-based assessments, enabling students to synthesize knowledge across basic sciences, fundamental medicine, clinical practice, public health, and medical ethics. This comprehensive approach equips graduates with the essential skills and competencies for their future medical careers.
The core faculty team includes 06 Associate Professors, 12 Doctors, 17 Masters, and nearly 200 adjunct lecturers, consisting of lecturers, Masters, Doctors, Associate Professors, and Senior Doctors. These individuals are currently teaching at medical universities or working at central hospitals and hospitals in Hanoi, bringing many years of experience and dedication to the field of education and training..
