Faculty of Finance and Banking
Founded in 2007, alongside the establishment of Dai Nam University, the Faculty of Finance and Banking is one of the university's earliest academic faculties. Over 18 years of continuous development, the Faculty has successfully trained nearly 2,000 highly qualified graduates in Finance and Banking. These graduates are equipped with a solid foundation of knowledge, specialized skills, and a professional attitude, ensuring their readiness to excel in the competitive and demanding labor market.
The Faculty of Finance and Banking aims to train graduates who are highly skilled in finance and banking, possess strong professional ethics, and have an integrative mindset. The training program is designed to be practical and modern, helping students develop comprehensively. The Faculty is committed to supporting students from the classroom to their professional careers, with a dedicated faculty team and a network of reputable business partners.

The training program equips students with a solid foundation of knowledge in economics, finance, and modern banking, while also updating them on emerging trends such as fintech, digital banking, blockchain,... Students engage in hands-on learning through simulation courses, in-depth practice, and internships at banks and businesses. The program focuses on developing professional skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt flexibly to the labor market.
Students can complete their studies in just 3 years, allowing them to save time and educational expenses, enter the workforce earlier, and enhance their opportunities for professional and personal growth.
The Finance and Banking training program has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and Training, affirming its compliance with national quality standards.
Dai Nam University is the only university in Vietnam that integrates the SilverLake core banking software into its practical training curriculum. Students gain hands-on experience using the actual core banking system of the Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB). This early exposure to professional banking operations equips students with essential technical skills and practical knowledge, giving them a competitive edge in working with internal banking systems even before graduation.
Students have the opportunity to visit businesses from their first year and take internships at nearly 50 partner banks and enterprises.
The Scholarship and Study Encouragement Fund for Intergenerational Connection in Finance and Banking offers scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition fees, exclusively for students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking.
100% of the faculty members in the Faculty of Finance and Banking hold at least a Master's degree, having received thorough and specialized training from prestigious institutions both domestically and internationally.
