Dai Nam University launches the contest "For dedicated learners" - creating a forum for teachers to share and spread inspirational stories for students' continuous dedication

“For the dedicated learner” is one of the “core cultural values” that contribute to the brand of Dai Nam University (DNU). This cultural value is not only the manifesto of action of more than 1,000 cadres, lecturers and staff, but is also considered of utmost importance and will be thoroughly acted upon in the new school year 2024-2025. In order to create a forum for teachers to share real-life stories that have been happening every day at DNU, to spread and inspire, and to further deepen the core cultural values within the organization, Dai Nam University launched the contest “For the dedicated learner”. This is a forum for teachers to express their love for the profession, creativity in work, dedication to students and practical contributions to the development of generations of students.

05 core cultural values of Dai Nam University.

1. Participants

- All staff, employees and lecturers currently working at Dai Nam University.

- Participants can submit articles individually or in groups. There is no limit to the number of group members.

2. Contest topic

Share about one or more situations where teachers have acted according to the cultural value of "For learners - Dedication" in the process of supporting and teaching students at Dai Nam University.

3. Contest format

Contest entries are articles with accompanying illustrations or videos.

4. Contest rules

- The entry must be a true story of an individual or organization and must not be copied from any source. If there is a quote or opinion of someone, the source must be clearly stated. Any individual or organization that violates copyright will be disqualified from the contest.

- Contest entries must not contain content that promotes religion, politics, reaction, violates the law or violates Vietnamese customs and traditions.

4.1. Regarding content: Contest entries must ensure that they demonstrate the following content:

- Describe the specific situation (Who, what, where, when, why, how it happened)

- How to handle it (what did you decide to do? Why?)

- Results achieved.

4.2. Regarding the length of the article: The written entry must be written in Vietnamese, with a minimum length of 200 words (excluding the source citation).

- Video duration is not more than 20 minutes.

- If the image/video is not taken by an individual, the source must be fully stated.

5. How to participate

Step 1: Individuals and organizations send their entries to the Organizing Committee every month at the registration form: https://forms.gle/igjdh2x6HAdeZqTy8

Teachers scan the code to submit entries quickly and easily.

Step 2: The Organizing Committee will review and schedule the posting of entries on the media channels of the School.

6. Implementation time

- Participation period: From August 20, 2024 to November 30, 2024.

- Time to announce results:

+ Monthly results: First week of October, November, December 2024

+ Final result: First week of December 2024.

7. Judging criteria

- Number of posts

- Number of reactions/post (as of the last day of the month)

- Number of comments/post (as of the last day of the month)

- The applicability and inspiration of the story (factors to consider impressive entries selected by the Organizing Committee).
