Dai Nam University is known as a dynamic, enthusiastic school with many exciting activities, keeping up with the trend. This March, the annual event called Traditional Camp officially returns with the theme: "Cultural tourism of regions - Preserving the green color of the homeland". This is a "hot" topic that society is interested in because environmental pollution is seriously affecting human life and the natural environment. Attending the program, teachers and students of Dai Nam University will "discover" a series of interesting and meaningful activities reminding them of love for their homeland and awareness of environmental protection.

After 16 years of construction, growth and development, Dai Nam University has established a solid position in the national education system; affirmed its prestige in society. Dai Nam University brand is also known through community activities such as: Love Cake, Warm Winter, Green Summer, Traditional Camp with "hot" issues of the country...

With the theme “Cultural tourism of regions – Preserving the green color of the homeland”, this traditional camp will bring a very meaningful message to the community: love for the country, responsibility to the community in preserving a clean environment, promoting the country’s smokeless industry… Here, the youth of Dai Nam University will experience many exciting and meaningful Cultural – Sports – Fine Arts activities such as: arranging words to convey the message of green tourism, flashmob dancing, martial arts performances, yoga, zumba, karate…

Thereby, connecting students with students, with teachers and the school, responsibility to society, especially training health, improving students' learning spirit and creativity.

A grand recycled fashion "party"

The final round of the recycling competition - “Eco Fashion Show” is a highlight of this year’s Camp. After the tough preliminary round, the excellent collections will be presented by models on the DNU red carpet.

All costumes use environmentally friendly materials such as paper, newspapers, magazines, cans... Products such as plastic bags, foam boxes, disposable plastic - materials that are difficult to recycle, take a long time to decompose, and affect the environment are not used to design costumes.

This unique fashion “party” will certainly bring eye-catching performances; demonstrate the creativity, confidence and bravery of students; and strongly spread the message of environmental protection.

Camping competition right at school yard

Camping is the most attractive and anticipated activity of the program. This year, there are 20 camping themes, associated with famous regions and tourist destinations such as: Wild and enchanting destinations; Northeastern Vietnam: Discovering unique culture and beautiful nature; Red River Delta: Discovering prosperous culture and history; Discovering the culture and history of Hanoi - Proud capital of a thousand years of civilization; Ha Long Bay paradise - Discovering the beautiful natural wonders of the world; Central Highlands - Journey to discover multi-ethnic culture; Ca Mau Cape - Journey to discover the last land of mainland Vietnam...

Exciting Teambuilding activities

As students of Dai Nam University, surely young people are no strangers to the Soft Skills Training Camp of the Faculty of Soft Skills Training and Development. After the Training Camp ended, many students exclaimed: "I wish I could participate one more time".

And this wish has come true when the activities and games of the Soft Skills Training Camp were brought to the 2023 Traditional Camp. Participating in teambuilding, the competing teams must use teamwork skills to overcome the challenges of the Organizing Committee. This interesting activity not only helps students practice their health and increase their flexibility, but also applies the knowledge and skills they have learned into practice.

Known as a dynamic school with many artistic “specialties”, it would be a mistake if the Camp did not have exciting performances. This year, the School’s Dance Club will “stir up” the Camp with special performances such as: Flashmob performance/Structure to convey the message of Green Tourism…

In addition, program attendees also got to 'admire' the self-defense, Yoga, Zumba... performances by teachers from the Faculty of Economics and Sports Marketing; and the Karate performance from the School's Karate Club.

The program to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is the key event of the Camp, which the University invested a large amount of money to organize. Thereby, it arouses pride in the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; at the same time, recalls the exciting activities and enthusiastic youth of the union members - youth of Dai Nam University.
