The Opening Ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year and the Grand Concert to Welcome New Students of K17 ended in the joy and pride of the teachers and students of Dai Nam University. The determination in the direction of the school's Board of Directors has turned the 14,000 m2 vacant land into a magnificent stadium, ensuring that 15,000 staff, lecturers, students and alumni can attend the grand ceremony. The faces of each staff, lecturer, student and alumni were radiant with happiness when attending an impressive and magnificent Opening Ceremony for the first time; proud that Dai Nam University is increasingly developing and affirming its brand to society.

Never witnessed such a grand and magnificent opening ceremony.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal was moved: "I feel extremely moved and proud because Dai Nam is growing day by day, both in terms of student size, quantity and quality of lecturers and output "orders" from businesses. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Le - Head of Finance and Accounting Department was moved: "As someone who is closely involved in many events of the University, I have never thought that Dai Nam would organize such a large-scale event. It feels like something is wrong even though I have signed the documents. Because I really don't think that such a grand stage can only be for music shows at the National Stadium, not for the Opening Ceremony within the internal framework of the University. But Dai Nam University has done it, completely successful, without any mistakes, absolutely safe and all teachers, staff and students in the school, including those who watched the livestream, were surprised and admired. I really admire the DAI NAM PEOPLE and feel very proud to always be a part of the historical moments of DNU".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Head of the Department of Training and Soft Skills Development choked up: "To talk about the Opening Ceremony and the Grand Concert to Welcome New Students of K17, I will summarize it in 2 words: PROUD. PROUD that we get to live in a Ceremony and Festival that is methodically invested, professional, and colorful. PROUD that we have a captain with HEART and VISION whose opening speech captured the hearts of anyone attending the program. PROUD that we have a passionate leadership team, colleagues who are usually quietly dedicated to their work but on holidays are ready to go on stage with bright lights like artists. PROUD that we have a strong student force, full of talent, passion, and enthusiasm. PROUD that we have an increasingly strong and powerful Dai Nam. And above all, I am PROUD is a GREAT SOUTHERN MAN".

Tired but happy, emotional and proud

Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Secretary of the School Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee said: “After the program, I was extremely tired but still very happy, happy and proud. I and 500 people in the crew that day worked with 100% of our strength but 10 times our mental “capacity”. The whole crew was very tired but seeing the program successful; teachers and students “burned” and “partyed” with all their might, everyone was very happy. This will be the motivation for the School Youth Union not to allow itself to rest but to continue to build more programs to serve Dai Nam students”.

Doan Minh Khang - IT class 17.05 shared: “My first impression was the huge scale with an area of over 15,000 students, the extremely special lighting effects, and good sound quality. Secondly, the teachers were very dynamic, young and dedicated, wholeheartedly welcoming us with a vibrant dance. I was especially surprised by the Principal's "playfulness" when he joined the singing game with me. The care, love and warm welcome of the School is a huge motivation for us new students".

Vu Xuan Trung - QTKD class 17.05 expressed: "I was surprised by the parade of the teachers. The introduction was extremely impressive, helping me understand more clearly about each major, Department... I saw the investment in image, communication and teaching quality of the school after more than 01 month of studying here. Hoang Ngoc Huyen - Marketing class 17.07 burst into happiness: "Everything was professional down to the last centimeter. Chu Thi Tra My - class TA 17.02 was moved: “Meeting the top stars of Vbiz is something I never expected, it's like a dream. This is also the first time I've performed on such a grand and fiery stage; being able to "let loose" with teachers and students to vibrant music. Through the program, I saw the dedication and thoughtfulness of the School in preparing for us "new recruits" wonderful and meaningful moments. It's a pleasure to be a small piece in the Dai Nam common house; I hope that in the coming years the school will continue to organize such big events to help students freely express themselves as well as shine and burn out like that".

The boys and girls of the Pharmacy faculty brought to the program an elaborate and impressive performance.

Minh Anh – class YK 17.02 expressed: “It was the right choice to choose Dai Nam University as the place to foster our future. The school welcomed us with all its enthusiasm, bringing us from one surprise to another. This is the first time I have been immersed in such a large and exciting Opening Ceremony and Concert. I am grateful to the school, to the teachers, and to the volunteers who enthusiastically welcomed us. We, the new students of K17, promise to work hard to help Dai Nam University become stronger.”
