University is not only a place to conquer knowledge but also an environment for each student to practice ethics and life skills. K18 Citizenship Week (from September 16 to 21, 2024) is the first step to help new students not only be solid in academics but also develop comprehensively in personality, sense of responsibility and life values.

K18 Citizenship Week is an annual, important event before the new school year of Dai Nam University.

Connect and grow

With the participation of more than 7,000 K18 freshmen, the civic week is not only an opportunity for freshmen to meet friends and teachers, but also helps them understand more deeply the traditions and core values of Dai Nam University.

During this week, students are provided with details of the training program, study regulations and other important regulations. Understanding these regulations helps students to be proactive in planning their studies, complying with regulations and making the most of their time at university. These are the first steps for students to be able to self-manage their studies and orient themselves throughout the learning process.

This year, the K18 civic activity week was carefully prepared by the School and solemnly organized continuously from September 16-21, 2024 in 3 large halls.

The knowledge of the civic week helps new students of K18 to be confident, proactive in integrating and ready for the development journey ahead.

Life skills and ethics: Valuable assets

The content shared by Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Board not only brings lessons on personal safety but also guides students to live positively, be grateful and know how to build a personal image with clear professional ethics. This is an important provision for students to not only face challenges in their studies but also in life, helping them become responsible citizens, respecting themselves and the community.

The topic of safe living skills shared directly by Ms. Cao Thi Hoa received interest and positive feedback from new students.

With an attractive, close, easy-to-listen, easy-to-understand presentation style, along with real-life stories and vivid illustrative videos, the topic of safe living skills received attention, response, exchange and lively discussion from new students.

Many new students have confidently overcome psychological barriers, frankly sharing their personal views on gender issues, reproductive health, social evils, gratitude, professional behavior, patience and civility in life situations...

Career Orientation – Securing the Future

Not only focusing on professional knowledge, Dai Nam University also focuses on educating students about attitude, working style and sense of responsibility at work. At the Citizen Activity Week, Ms. Pham Thi Dung - Director of the Center for Employment and Entrepreneurship answered concerns about careers, committed to 100% of graduates having jobs with attractive incomes, and emphasized that success in a career stems from ethics and seriousness at work.

Team spirit – Long lasting bond

Moral education not only helps students to be confident in life but also builds lasting relationships. Through collective activities and exchanges with the older generation, students learn how to work in groups, share and support each other. This is the foundation for them to develop not only in terms of knowledge but also in personality, creating good relationships throughout their learning journey and beyond.

Dai Nam University not only provides knowledge but also creates a foundation of ethics and life skills for students to confidently enter life, ready to conquer challenges and achieve great success in the future.
