The first week of civic activities, course 8, was exciting and meaningful.

On August 25 and 26, 2014, at Phu Lam Grand Hall - Ha Dong, Dai Nam University held a program to welcome the first batch of new students and organized political activities at the beginning of the year.
Political activities are the time for the school leaders to meet new students; introduce the history, development goals; disseminate training regulations, learning methods as well as the work of the Union, Association, Clubs... of Dai Nam University so that new students have more understanding about the school, equip themselves with more knowledge to confidently enter the university with the best results.
Attending the political activity were the Chairman of the Board of Directors - Dr. Le Dac Son, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the school and leaders of functional departments, staff, lecturers and all new students of course 8. This is a series of programs in lieu of gifts that Dai Nam University sends to new students of course 8, with extremely interesting and surprising activities.
Understanding and loving the school through the sharing of teachers in the leadership board
After the performances and entertainment games, the new students enjoyed a clip about the panorama of Dai Nam University - 7 years of development. In just 10 short minutes, it was enough for the students to have a general idea about the school they will be attached to for the next 4 years.
Next, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the University gave an overview of the history, goals and development strategies of Dai Nam University. He especially emphasized the successes and growth of the University over the past 7 years; the training program and the obligations of students.
The Principal had sincere exchanges and sharing with the new students. And when listening to the new students' sharing about their future dreams, he once again affirmed: "Dai Nam University will be the place to nurture your dreams in the future".
After the Principal's sharing, there was a speech by the Chairman of the Board of Directors - Dr. Le Dac Son. His appearance probably surprised many students when the image of a leader at the top of the school was so close and friendly. Instead of a speech that covered several pages, he shared with the students words from the bottom of his heart full of passion. Like the words of a father to his children who were away from home for the first time.
Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors with his sharing to new students of K8
The teacher earnestly called on new students to study on their own right from the first day of university, strive to improve their knowledge, improve their self-study spirit, read on their own, and proactively find lessons related to the lectures. Be aware of discipline from the smallest things like going to school on time. Build your English skills, actively participate in movement activities to become a good citizen for society, a good child in the family. At the end of the speech, the teacher advised new students to appreciate their parents' hard work by saving money when starting an independent life. These are extremely valuable shares for any student when they first step into university, along with understanding about the school will help new students love and be more attached to Dai Nam University - the place that will nurture and develop your dreams.
Fun and useful activities
It is not an exaggeration to say that the K8 freshmen's civic week had many special "performances".
