Spreading the spirit of volunteerism: Dai Nam University donates nearly 500 million VND to support people in the North affected by storm No. 3

With the spirit of "helping each other" and deep social responsibility, Dai Nam University (DNU) has constantly strived to share with the community through volunteer activities. Recently, the school donated nearly 500 million VND to support the people of the North and students' families who were severely affected by storm No. 3 - Yagi. This action not only has the meaning of timely material support but also is a great spiritual encouragement, helping people overcome difficulties and rebuild their lives.

Typhoon Yagi caused serious damage to the northern provinces, flooding thousands of houses, damaging crops and affecting the lives of thousands of people. In that context, Dai Nam University quickly launched an internal donation program, with the enthusiastic participation of staff, lecturers, employees and students. The amount of nearly 500 million VND donated has become a symbol of compassion and solidarity towards difficult circumstances.

Specifically, Dai Nam University has allocated the support amount as follows:

+ Support the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee through the Ministry of Education and Training: 200 million VND.

+ Support for house repair for a family in Ha Dong district after the storm: 60 million VND.

+ Support emergency necessities for Yen Bai flood area: 18.5 million VND.

+ Contribution to the construction of Ca Thanh Primary School (Nguyen Binh, Cao Bang): 100 million VND.

+ Direct support for 47 families of Dai Nam University students: 108 million VND.

Not only stopping at financial support, Dai Nam University also proactively organized practical volunteer activities. The school delegation directly went to the damaged areas to visit and help people clean up their houses and overcome the consequences of natural disasters. These activities brought joy and hope to many families, and at the same time helped the community feel more deeply the spirit of compassion and sharing.

The donation of nearly 500 million VND is not only a charity program, but also an opportunity to arouse compassion and solidarity in the Dai Nam University community.
