Student scientific research is an intellectual activity that helps students apply scientific research methods in their studies and practice. Students initially apply a synthesis of the knowledge they have learned to research and solve problems posed by real life and career, thereby deepening, expanding and perfecting their knowledge. Based on that important meaning, on the afternoon of May 30, the Faculty of Business Administration in conjunction with the Faculty of Public Relations & Communication successfully organized the 2016 Student Scientific Research Conference. This is an annual program for students who are passionate about exploring and discovering scientific issues.
Attending the Conference were Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research and International Cooperation, along with lecturers and students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication.

Of the four topics reported at the Conference, there were two topics from the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications and two topics from students of the Faculty of Business Administration. With two topics from students of the 6th course, the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications, who are final year students with solid specialized knowledge and fluent presentation skills, they brought about elaborate and quality research. Meanwhile, both topics from the Faculty of Business Administration were carried out by a group of students of the 8th course. Although still quite unfamiliar with scientific research, the second year students still surprised the teachers with the results they achieved. Both topics chose to research students of Dai Nam University with the questionnaire survey method, with a relatively large sample size, up to 300 - 400 students. With convincing research results and presentations, a group of students from class QTKD 08-01 with the topic "Research on learning motivation of students at Dai Nam University" won the first prize. Student Duong Thi Hong Loan, class QHCC 06-01 won the second prize with the topic " Perfecting the PR model for small and medium enterprises in Vietnam".

All scientific research topics are a testament to the dedication and constant efforts of student groups as well as instructors. The success of the conference is a strong source of encouragement for the next generation of students, and promises further progress on the scientific research journey of Dai Nam University students.
