Press release: Program "The cake of love - Returning to the old Tet" Tet 2024

“The Cake of Love” is an annual charity program of Dai Nam University (DNU) every Tet holiday, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and community responsibility of DNU teachers and students.

This year, along with the organization of the program "The Love Cake", Dai Nam University will bring to teachers and students the traditional Tet space with the theme "Returning to the old Tet". In addition to being able to personally wrap - boil - give away green Chung cakes to bring Tet to the less fortunate, teachers and students of Dai Nam University also recreate the old Tet cultural space of regions across the country with diverse Tet activities, such as: Vietnamese traditional costumes, folk games, asking for calligraphy from Ong Do, Tet market... and special cultural - sports - art activities from student clubs in the school. The diverse experiential activities aim to help students understand and preserve the traditional cultural values of the nation, arousing love for the homeland with the message: "Culture is the soul of the nation, as long as there is culture, the nation will exist..."

After 12 consecutive years of implementation, the program "Tam banh nghia tinh" has mobilized 15,000 teachers and students to participate; raised more than 3 billion VND; and donated nearly 30,000 green banh chung to the less fortunate in society. These include the elderly without shelter or care; orphaned and homeless children; patients with serious illnesses who cannot return home to celebrate Tet with their families; and disadvantaged people in society...

For the program to be a success, teachers and students of Dai Nam University hope to receive attention and support from news agencies and media.
