In the journey of growing up, everyone can make mistakes - especially young people, when the ego is still strong, experience is still limited, and the line between innocence and carelessness is often very fragile. Therefore, university education is not only a place to impart knowledge, but also a place where people practice attitude, personality and responsibility.

Youth - attitude is more important than mistakes

Attitude is the measure of an educated person. A student may make mistakes, but it is how he deals with them that makes others respect or disappoint him.

Being humble, receptive and knowing how to listen is the first step to maturity.

Avoidance, blame or resistance only make the distance between you and the opportunity to learn even greater.

Dai Nam University is the first university in the North to introduce Soft Skills as a core subject and has a Faculty of Soft Skills Training & Development.

A small mistake can be forgiven if one sincerely admits it and corrects it.

A wrongdoing can become a lesson if young people dare to look straight, dare to correct, and dare to do it again.

Apologizing is a sign of courage; knowing how to make amends is a sign of character.

University education not only teaches knowledge, but also teaches behavioral culture, learning attitude and sense of responsibility.

The right attitude opens the door to respect, trust and growth opportunities.

Students are trained and practiced in skills from the most basic things such as greeting, thanking, apologizing ... to communication skills, presentation, teamwork, negotiation... to mature and live a decent life.

Teacher - discipline is responsibility, tolerance is the foundation of humanity

In education, discipline is not punishment, but a means to preserve values and guide correct behavior.

Teachers have the right and responsibility to deal with violations of rules by students – because strictness is necessary to maintain discipline and respect in the classroom.

Behind every form of discipline, however, what is more important is the goal of education and the belief that students can change.

Tolerance does not mean ignoring, but dealing with reason but still starting from compassion, so that after discipline comes opportunity, after mistakes comes maturity.

Society should be viewed with fairness and kindness.

In the age of social media, a small mistake of young people is sometimes exaggerated to the point of causing their downfall.

But education and society should not turn one minute mistake into a lifelong sentence.

A student today may be clumsy, but if properly guided and given opportunities, they can still become a good citizen, a useful person to society.

Because behind a student is family, future, and the trust of society.

Judging is easy, but helping others improve themselves is difficult - and that is the sign of a civilized and humane community.

Education is a journey to lift people up, not to put them down.

A liberal arts school does not cover up mistakes, but also does not push anyone into a corner.

Discipline may be necessary, but the ultimate goal is to help the wrongdoer learn to stand up properly.

True education is when every mistake can become an opportunity for a person to do it again – better, more mature and more humane.

In lieu of a conclusion

Education is not about finding out who is right and who is wrong, but about helping people find themselves again after mistakes.

When students have the right attitude, know how to admit mistakes and correct themselves; when teachers maintain fairness and humanity; when society chooses a tolerant and good-willed view , then we are truly educating.

Because the goal of education is not to create perfect people, but to help each person become better, to know how to live responsibly, to know how to love and to grow from imperfections.
