Media in the fight against Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam

Every year, each lecturer must have at least one scientific research topic published in prestigious national and international scientific journals. This is the driving force that urges lecturers to constantly explore and research new theoretical and practical issues, thereby improving their qualifications and knowledge to serve the teaching work for students.
Dr. Tran Van Le - lecturer of the Faculty of Communication with nearly 10 years of experience studying and researching in the Russian Federation has many articles and scientific research works of high practical value. In September 2021, he completed a scientific article entitled "Communication in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam" published in the scientific journal Vestnik VSU - one of the most prestigious journals of universities in Russia.
This event not only marks the development in research and teaching activities of Dr. Tran Van Le but also contributes to promoting the development of the scientific research movement of the Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University.

Sharing about the topic of the recently published international article, Dr. Tran Van Le said: The Covid-19 epidemic has impacted and changed the world. The fight against the epidemic is like fighting the enemy on all fronts. As a lecturer and a journalist myself, I realize that the role of the media is very important, capable of contributing significantly to the success in the fight against the epidemic. Therefore, I chose this topic for my scientific article.
The scientific article " Communication in the fight against Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam" analyzes the role of communication in controlling the Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam with the example of the 5K message of the Ministry of Health. In addition, the article provides recommendations for media workers in reporting and propagating during the epidemic.
Dr. Tran Van Le chose Vestnik VSU Scientific Journal to publish his scientific research work. It is known that Vestnik VSU Journal was established in 2004 under the management of Voronezh State University. The journal has the theme: "Literature, journalism, criticism", published 4 times/year, announcing research results in the fields of literature and mass communication. Articles on issues of literary criticism and linguistics, journalism theory, advertising and public relations are accepted for review and publication.
The journal is included in the List of selected Russian scientific journals. Vestnik VSU journal is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Legal Compliance in the Field of Mass Media and Protection of Cultural Heritage: Certificate of registration of mass media PI No. FS77-19722 dated April 7, 2005.
The journal's authors are leading Russian and foreign scientists and young researchers. All articles are strictly evaluated and reviewed.
Up to now, Dr. Tran Van Le has had 9 research works, which are scientific articles published in Russian scientific journals, including some topics such as: The Vietnamese press system during the transition to socialism (Party press) published in the National Scientific Journal "Vetnhich" of Voronezh State University (2016); "The influence of social networks on Vietnamese press" published in Asen Magazine (2017); "Diplomatic activities of Vietnamese leaders help strengthen the national image" published in the Journal of the all-federal scientific conference "Media issues" (2018); and the topic "Media in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam" recently published in Vestnik VSU Magazine in September 2021.
Dr. Tran Van Le attended the International Conference at MVLomonosov Moscow State University.
Talking about the importance of scientific research, Mr. Le said: Scientific research and teaching are two activities that support each other. The results of scientific research are meaningful as a basis for improving and innovating the content, methods, and forms of teaching organization. The knowledge and experience gathered in the process of scientific research will supplement and create conditions for lecturers to improve their professional qualifications and professional skills; supplement practical documents for lectures, contributing to the innovation of teaching content and methods. On the other hand, scientific research products after research are the basis, scientific arguments are valuable sources of materials for compiling, editing, and supplementing textbooks, training materials, and fostering teaching and learning at the School.
Sharing his experience in scientific research, Dr. Tran Van Le emphasized four important notes, including: Arranging and allocating time reasonably; choosing a research topic; presenting the research topic according to international standards; choosing appropriate reference materials.
