Lecturer of Business Administration Faculty reports on school-level scientific research topic

Recognizing the important role of scientific research activities, in recent years, Dai Nam University has issued many policies to encourage lecturers to participate in scientific research. The Faculty of Business Administration is one of the leading units in scientific research activities, with many research topics conducted and many scientific works published. In the 2020-2021 school year, the Faculty of Business Administration registered three school-level scientific research topics. On June 30, 2021, the research team led by MSc. Duong Minh Tu reported the research results of the topic "Research on some factors affecting the work efficiency of lecturers at non-public universities in Hanoi"

The thesis acceptance council consists of scientists inside and outside the university, including: Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Chairman of the Council; Senior lecturer - Dr. Vu Quang (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) - Reviewer 1; Dr. Vuong Thi Thanh Tri (Thang Long University) - Reviewer 2; Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong (University of Economics - VNU) - Member; Master Pham Thi Thu Hien (Dai Nam University) - Secretary of the Council.

Master Duong Minh Tu - project manager, on behalf of the group members including: Dr. Truong Duc Thao, MSc. Phan Thi Thuy. MSc. Vu Ngoc Thang presented an overview of the project implementation process.
Next, the research team presented the main content of the topic, including three main contents. The first content, the research team systematized the theoretical basis of work efficiency of employees in general and university lecturers in particular. On that basis, the team pointed out that there are 05 factors affecting the work efficiency of university lecturers, including: Job satisfaction, job stress, commitment to work, support from colleagues and support from managers. The second content, the team collected data and processed it on SPSS20 software to show the current situation and the level of impact of each factor on the work efficiency of non-public university lecturers. The third content, based on the current situation, the team analyzed and made some recommendations to improve the work efficiency of lecturers.
After listening to the project leader report on the research results, the members of the acceptance council gave comments, contributions and counter-arguments. Accordingly, the council highly appreciated the research results of the project because of its practical research direction, tight structure and scientific content. However, the council also pointed out some limitations of the project so that the group could continue to improve and possibly upgrade the topic and expand the research scale.
Concluding the project acceptance session, Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh, on behalf of the acceptance council, summarized and announced the scores of the acceptance council. Accordingly, the members of the acceptance council assessed the project as meeting the requirements with an average score of 86, classified as good.
