Launching the Startup Competition with Dai Nam 2022

On the morning of March 28, the Faculty of Business Administration of Dai Nam University, together with the Center for Research and Development and Enterprise Support, organized an online Orientation Session to launch the contest "Starting a business with Dai Nam" in 2022 for all students studying at the school.

Attending the Orientation Session, on the guest side were Mr. Nguyen Vu Cao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khang Land Company; Mr. Bui Minh Hieu - Deputy Director of Ha Long JSC.

On behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of the University; Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc - Head of Logistics & Supply Chain Management Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan - Deputy Head of Business Administration Faculty; Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Deputy Head of Business Administration Faculty; MSc. Duong Minh Tu - Deputy Head of Business Administration Faculty along with representatives of leaders of Departments, Offices and students.

At the ceremony, delegates watched films about the achievements of KNĐMST activities in the past time; listened to businesses share interesting startup stories, and discussed with startup expert - Ms. Huynh Thi Hoa about theoretical and practical startup issues.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee announced the competition rules, emphasizing the criteria on project ideas; commercialization ability; not copying from others, not violating intellectual property laws. Accordingly, the scope of the competition is ideas and startup project products in all industries in three fields: science and technology, social and practical fields, and innovation and industry.

Speaking at the launch of the contest, Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of the University emphasized that the "Start-up with Dai Nam" contest is initiated and organized annually by the Faculty of Business Administration of Dai Nam University, starting in 2015 and has successfully carried out two subsequent contests in 2017 and 2018. This is an attractive, practical and useful program for students of the economic sector in general and students of Dai Nam University in particular. The contest aims to provide a business foundation, maximum support for students to start real businesses, become entrepreneurs with their projects. At the same time, it creates an environment for experience and a mechanism for start-ups, creating a breakthrough change in innovation and start-ups at Dai Nam University.

Ideas and projects participating in the contest will go through 3 rounds including the preliminary round (taking place on May 23), the semi-final round (taking place on August 3), and the final round (taking place on September 28).
