K18 freshmen of Dai Nam University "received" computer scholarships from the Special Talent Fund of the Taiwan Education Bureau (China)

On September 10, Dai Nam University (DNU) awarded computer scholarships worth 10 million VND/student from the Special Talent Fund of the Taiwan Education Bureau (China) to new students of K18 in the 2+2 Taiwan joint class. This is not only practical support but also a testament to the strong companionship of the University and the Taiwan Education Bureau on the journey of studying and conquering the international environment of students.
Scholarships are awarded to 100% of K18 students of the 2+2 joint program in the following majors: Information Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Tourism and Travel Services Management.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal emphasized: The international cooperation program is a strategic step of Dai Nam University in bringing students access to global education.
“By studying in an international training system, you are choosing a new career, a new language – a new life; opening the door to international integration and becoming a global citizen. To achieve that, you must take the responsibility of studying seriously. The school is committed to accompanying and supporting you as best as possible, helping you conquer all challenges on this journey,” she shared.
By participating in the 2+2 international joint program, students will study at Dai Nam University (first 2 years) and top universities in Taiwan (last 2 years). Upon completion, students will receive an international bachelor's degree awarded by a Taiwan university.
During their studies, students have the opportunity to receive large scholarships from Dai Nam University, the Taiwanese Government and Minh Tan University of Science and Technology.
The program ensures students are trained in Chinese – the main language in Asian economic activities.
During their first year of study in Taiwan (China), students have the opportunity to work 20 hours/week with a minimum salary of about 146,000 VND/hour.
In the second year, students are arranged to intern at a business for 40 hours/week, which is counted as 18 academic credits, and receive a minimum internship salary of 27,400 NTD/month (about 22 million VND).
100% of students connect with jobs after graduation, opportunities to work and live long-term in Taiwan (China) or work at FDI enterprises in Vietnam.
Students are guided by a team of excellent lecturers and advisors trained in developed countries such as the United States, England, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, etc.
Sharing at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Tam - Director of the International Training Institute said: "The opportunity to become a student of the 2+2 international joint program at Dai Nam University is still open. New students of K18 of the 2+2 joint program who successfully enroll will continue to receive a computer scholarship worth 10 million VND".
