From Dai Nam University lecture hall to international semester in China

On September 1, 2025, nearly 200 students from Dai Nam University (DNU) will officially depart for Harbin Normal University (China) to participate in a one-year international semester program.

This is not only a study trip abroad, but also an important milestone in the internationalization strategy of Dai Nam University, opening up opportunities for students to access knowledge, experience culture and integrate deeply into the educational environment of a developed country.

Prepare for an international semester year

Accordingly, nearly 200 students majoring in Chinese Language at Dai Nam University will study at one of the prestigious schools in China – Harbin Normal University. In addition to the modern training environment, students also receive many practical supports from the University such as:

- Economical tuition fees, equivalent to domestic tuition fees;

- Dormitory scholarships from 50% - 100% for excellent students;

Sharing before the departure day, student Pham Thi Lan Anh (class TT17.16) was moved : “Participating in a one-year exchange program in China is a priceless opportunity for us to study, exchange and experience in a dynamic international environment. Being away from family, language barriers, cultural differences or study pressure are all challenges, but we believe that will be the luggage for us to grow up and make a breakthrough.”

Internationalization of Education – Strategic Orientation of Dai Nam University

Not only with the Chinese Language major, Dai Nam University is implementing international exchange programs in many other majors/training programs.

The 2+2, 3+1 or 3+1+1 international cooperation programs between Dai Nam University and leading technology universities in Taiwan are a unique opportunity for students majoring in Semiconductor Technology to study, research, and do paid internships in other countries. In particular, students have the ability to receive 2 university degrees after 5 years of study.

In addition, students majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction Engineering, Construction Economics, Architecture, etc. also have a wide open door to study abroad with high salaries in Taiwan with the new Specialized Scholarship policy of the Taiwan Ministry of Education in Vietnam.

With the internship program, students majoring in Korean Language, Japanese Language, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Business Administration, etc. can do internships with great salaries in Korea, Japan, and the United States.
