Born in 1990, Do Tuan Hai is currently the owner of two unique fashion shops and a unique coffee shop for young people in Hanoi. In addition to business, Hai is also an MC and a teen model. In each field this young man participates in, he leaves his own mark.

Opening his first fashion shop at the age of 21, Hai was lucky to have his mother lend him 100 million VND. 6 months later, this young man paid back the capital to his mother and started accumulating interest. The two coffee shops and fashion shops were then built by the 9X owner himself.

"I opened the shop very quickly. The clothes stored at the warehouse must meet the following standards: beautiful, clean, and unique designs. The consignment model is very popular in the world, but in Vietnam, before Hai, no one had participated. Hai said that the biggest difficulty was not coming up with the process, but how to operate it.

“Many stores have proactively accepted to become branches, but Hai does not want to expand it at this time,” the 9X “boss” shared. The reason Hai gave was that the warehouse had just been established for more than a month and was not yet fully operational. Hai’s secret to “raising” the chain of stores is to do good business with each store, each store must have a long-term strategy, and not overlap or mix up the work of each side.

Having a passion for business since childhood, in 6th grade, this young man used to sell chips, popcorn, instant noodles right at home. At that time, Hai's house was opposite a kindergarten, so he immediately thought of starting a business. He borrowed 50k from his grandmother, a "huge" amount of money for a 6th grade boy. After a few days, Hai paid her back in full, saving a decent amount for future business ventures.

In 8th grade, Hai imported chocolate to sell on Valentine's Day, March 8. One time when he went to Hanoi to play, he saw a delicious fruit salad, so Hai also tried to bring it back to Son La to make and made a profit. Gradually, business became a very easy fate for this 9X guy.

After finishing high school, Hai's family moved from Son La to Hanoi. At that time, this young man suffered the first shock of his life: he failed the entrance exam to the Academy of Journalism and Communication. Not wasting a year, Hai applied to Dai Nam University. The Gemini man believes that the most important thing is the results achieved. "University, after all, is just a means to an end," Hai shared.

Hai said that the chain of fashion stores and coffee shops is doing well, earning him 100 million a month. Sometimes the business goes smoothly, sometimes it doesn't. Hai once had to close a fashion store because of losses. During that business journey, the 9x boss always kept in mind: "Do the job you love, you will feel that every difficulty has a way to overcome."

Every time he faces a challenge, Hai tells himself: "Think as optimistically as possible and every problem has a reasonable solution." One of the secrets to successfully managing a chain of stores according to Hai is to prioritize work organization skills and crisis handling.

Hai admits that he is a lucky guy who always receives support from his family and friends. In his free time, Hai likes to read books and travel.
