On November 22-23, 2018, Dai Nam University cooperated with Tue Tinh Traditional Medicine Academy to conduct a health check-up at the beginning of the course for K12 students at two campuses of the University.

Accordingly, K12 students will be examined with full clinical examination categories such as: Weighing, blood pressure check, eye examination, maxillofacial examination, ear-nose-throat examination, internal medicine examination, surgery examination, dermatology examination, obstetrics and gynecology examination (for female students)...

The health check-up at the beginning of the course for new students is an annual activity of Dai Nam University.

To ensure the health check-up is conducted smoothly and quickly, Dai Nam University has arranged for two consecutive days of examination at two facilities, divided into many examination groups and mobilized student volunteers to guide and coordinate.

Most of the students interviewed were excited to have a general health check-up at school. Nguyen Thu Quynh, a K12 student, shared: “I was planning to have a general health check-up, but luckily the school organized one. Through this health check-up, we can clearly understand our health status, thereby adjusting our diet, study, and rest to ensure the best health for studying…”

1,300 K12 students received a general health check-up at the beginning of the course.

Commenting on the health examination process and procedures, K12 students clearly expressed their satisfaction with the service attitude of the medical examination facility, the sense of responsibility of the officers, lecturers and medical staff of the School. They all felt happy with the results of their health examination when they were assessed as eligible to participate in the course.

K12 students will be examined in full clinical examination categories.

Implementing Circular No. 10/2016/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training on health check-ups at the beginning of the course and periodic health check-ups during the study period according to the regulations of educational institutions and Circular No. 14/2013/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health regulating the application of health check-ups for subjects when entering universities, colleges and vocational high schools, the leaders of Dai Nam University pay great attention and direct relevant departments to do a good job of periodic health check-ups for students and trainees through each school year.

Commenting on the health examination process and procedures, K12 students clearly expressed their satisfaction.

“The correct assessment of students’ health upon entry is the basis for the School to develop study plans and organize cultural, artistic and sports activities suitable to the conditions and actual health status of the students. This is also an opportunity for the School’s Health Department to gain practical experience, exchange and learn about professional expertise, gain more experience in applying first aid and monitoring the health status of students during their time at the school…”, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal shared.
