“Learning goes hand in hand with practice” is always the top motto of the Faculty of Communication - Dai Nam University. In order to carry out that motto, many new students of K18 of the Faculty of Communication have “invited each other” to travel to large and small events to work. Each product brought back clearly shows the spirit of learning, not afraid of difficulties, hardships, ready to “go all out” for beautiful footage, quality interview files…

10:00 p.m., after receiving the assignment, the group of young people Nguyen Van Thang - class TTĐPT 18-04 immediately planned to go on assignment, making a reportage "The silent workers".

The first time "going out" made many members of the group confused, not knowing where to start. But thanks to determination and the guidance and support of the teachers, the whole group was able to recover their spirits and tried to bring back many valuable images, videos, and audio files.

To create an impressive product that gets a perfect score of 10, the whole team has to meet continuously and edit every single content and detail together.

Talking about his first assignment, student Nguyen Van Thang - class TTĐPT 18-04 shared: “When we heard the assignment, we discussed the plan to collect news and conduct interviews. But when we set out, the whole group was confused because we didn’t expect to encounter so many difficulties. Sometimes we couldn’t find the characters, sometimes the recording source was too dark, and when we finished, the audio file was corrupted. We were discouraged, but no one gave up. Because right from the moment we decided to set out to do the assignment, we were determined that we wouldn’t come back without a perfect product. Although it wasn’t really good, it was still a memorable experience for us, and also a motivation for more polished products in the future.”

K18 students of the Faculty of Communication are excited on their first field trip.

Despite many difficulties, the young people did not give up.

Although only in their first year, K18 students of the Communication Department have been very proactive in attending large and small events, learning more from practice.

Last September, a group of students from the 18-03, 18-04 TTĐPT classes attended the press conference for the “Miss Multicultural World 2025” contest. Meanwhile, the young people from the QHCC class of K18 went all the way to Tam Dao town to support the organization of the “Storytelling Pottery” event as collaborators.

Through these practical experiences, the young people witnessed firsthand the work of their seniors in the profession, and also had the opportunity to exchange with many experts in the field of communications.

For every student, going on assignment is a blessing.

Thanks to that, the students have matured a lot.

Getting hands-on experience is what every student wants.

Not only professional skills, K18 students of the Faculty of Communication also pay great attention to developing soft skills, actively participating in many movement activities and competitions to improve themselves. Some young people are also trusted by the Faculty to be given great responsibilities, thereby bringing back many proud achievements.

A typical example is student Ngo Hai Dang - class monitor of class TTĐPT 18-02, who was just awarded the "Best Actor" award at the Drug-Free School competition.

Sharing about this memorable milestone, Hai Dang said: “When I was assigned the main role, I was very worried, afraid that I would not be able to handle it. But thanks to the encouragement of the teachers and everyone's support, I was able to complete my performance well. The "Best Actor" award is the first award I have received since being a student at Dai Nam University. It is also thanks to the school and the faculty's trust that I have this precious opportunity. I myself also realize that I have matured a lot after the competition. I hope that I will have more opportunities to develop.”

Hai Dang's performance received a lot of praise from the judges.

After the competition, Hai Dang received many valuable lessons.

K18 students participated in Let's Dance, contributing to bringing home the runner-up prize for the faculty.

Young people are also very active in participating in movement activities.

In addition to direct classroom lessons, the Faculty of Communication always focuses on promoting movement activities and professional development activities, aiming to promote students to practice their profession and develop themselves. Not only K18, all young people of the Faculty of Communication are constantly accumulating more knowledge, experience and experiences to improve themselves. Hopefully, the students of Dai Nam University will shine even more on their path.
