With the goal of helping students approach the field of study through learning and contacting with pharmaceutical products and functional foods on the market. Knowing how to research, collect and process information when researching a scientific issue. At the same time, helping students form teamwork and scientific research skills. On the morning of April 26, 2016, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Dai Nam University organized the Final Round of the Competition on Researching Medicines and Functional Foods for the 2015-2016 school year.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Nguyen expressed his thanks for the attention and support of the School for the Faculty's competition.

The Medicine and Dietary Supplements Research Competition is held regularly every school year of the Faculty of Pharmacy, attracting the participation of many student groups with research topics on medicines and dietary supplements that can treat many common diseases in Vietnam. In the 2015-2016 school year, with more than 20 research topics, the Faculty of Pharmacy selected 7 best topics to enter the Final round.

Students confidently present their research topics.

Although they were only in their first and second years, the topics were researched and presented by the Pharmacy students in a serious and scientific manner, and were highly appreciated by the Jury and Teachers for their quality and presentation. At the end of the competition, the Jury selected the first prize for the research topic " Supporting the treatment of liver and biliary diseases" by a group of Pharmacy students in grades 08-06.

Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Vice Principal of the School presented the award to the first prize winning research team.

Dr. Pham Van Nguyen awarded second prize for the topic "Supporting the treatment of digestive diseases"

The contest to learn about herbal medicines and functional foods is one of many other contests organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy for students. This is an opportunity for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy to learn from experience in doing research papers so that they can have better study methods and exams in the following years. Through the contest, teachers also give lessons, emphasizing the issue of medical ethics for students majoring in Pharmacy.
