Faculty of Communication - A place to inspire passion for research and learning

In addition to diverse practical activities, considered "specialties of the Faculty of Communication - DNU" such as: filming, editing, photography, graphic design, to writing articles, MCing, event organization..., scientific research activities are also considered a "distinctive mark", contributing to creating generations of well-rounded students, passionate about learning, research and practice.

Recently, the 2023-2024 Faculty of Communication Science Research Student Conference was successfully held with 12 research topics that were evaluated as well-prepared, creative and of high practical value.

The Faculty of Communication is one of the faculties that organized the earliest Student Scientific Research Conference in the University. With 12 Faculty-level research topics, the Faculty of Communication is also one of the faculties with the largest number of research topics, demonstrating the spirit of volunteering learning and research of students throughout the Faculty.

This year, students are particularly interested in topics that are currently trending media activities: the social media platform Tiktok, the ChatGPT application, short videos, and media products of Dai Nam University. This proves that students of the Faculty of Communication are always quick to catch up with trends, pursuing novelty and creativity. Those are also the typical qualities of students in this major.

According to the student reports, all 12 topics achieved a score of Good or higher, including 4 topics achieving an Excellent score. The 3 topics participating in the University-level Student Scientific Research Conference with impressive scores were: "The effectiveness of communication of Dai Nam University in brand recognition for Dai Nam students" by the group of students majoring in Multimedia Communications, Course 15, "The impact of social network Tiktok on the image of Dai Nam University students" by the group of students majoring in Multimedia Communications, Course 16, "The specificity of information content for young people in radio programs" by the group of students majoring in Multimedia Communications, Course 17.

Research activities - The pride of the Faculty of Communication

As one of the faculties that always seriously conduct scientific research activities, in recent years, the Faculty of Communication is known as a Faculty with quality topics. In the 2022-2023 school year, the faculty had a research topic that won First Prize in the Social Sciences and Humanities block of the whole school, this topic was highly appreciated by the council with admirable research results.
