Ecosystem of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship": Dai Nam University ensures 100% of students are connected to have jobs after graduation

The school's Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Center ecosystem is built on three criteria: A team of talented, professional staff who understand the organizational culture and wholeheartedly support students; Dynamically inspire and create opportunities for generations of students; Bring students to businesses and welcome entrepreneurs from businesses to the school to teach students. The "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center commits that 100% of students are connected to jobs right from their school days and have jobs in their major with high and stable income after graduation.

After 16 years of construction and development, Dai Nam University has increasingly affirmed its reputation and brand in the Vietnamese university education system.

By 2023, the school had 32,000 students; 20,000 students had graduated; more than 12,000 students were studying in all training systems.

The rate of graduates having jobs in their major is high, in many majors 100% of students have jobs while still in school.

Realizing the ambition of bringing the rate of students who have jobs in their major right from their graduation to 100%, ensuring that every student studying at the School receives the best support from the time they start school until graduation and future career development, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board directed the establishment of the "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center from February 28, 2023; officially put into operation from March 2023.

The mission of the "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center is: "Accompanying and supporting students, connecting with students' parents, alumni, and employers to develop together for life".

The "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center was established with the goal: 100% of Dai Nam University students have jobs after graduation.

Realizing that mission, the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" of Dai Nam University has built a dynamic, modern, and humane ecosystem to wholeheartedly connect businesses, introduce jobs, and accompany students throughout their career and startup journey.

Specifically:

A team of talented, professional staff who understand the organization's culture and are dedicated to supporting students.

The criteria for recruiting staff and employees of the Center are in accordance with the responsibilities and organizational culture of Dai Nam University: Must be people with good morals, talents, well-trained, experienced and capable of solving problems; must be people who understand the right things, understand the core values of Dai Nam University to act. Each staff must always think and act "how to improve the quality every day". Respect students because students are not only customers but also invaluable assets of the University and the country.

Dr. Le Dac Son presented the decision to appoint MSc. Pham Thi Dung as Deputy Director of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship".

Accordingly, the requirements for the Center's officers and employees are:

Dynamically inspire, give opportunities to generations of students

With the slogan: “A new opportunity to change your life” , the “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship” Center is a place to connect businesses, inspire entrepreneurship and give opportunities to generations of students to start taking action in their careers.

Specifically, the center will perform the following tasks:

• Support and help students arrange internships and part-time jobs in their majors during their time at school.
• Create jobs in the right field for graduating students,
• Build relationships and a system of reputable and responsible partners in recruiting and training students.

Medical students do clinical internship at Saint Paul General Hospital.

Ha Dong General Hospital accepts medical students for clinical practice.

• Coordinate care and receive feedback from Enterprises receiving interns and working students to serve the work of evaluating the effectiveness of internship programs, training programs or changing and improving training programs.
• Coordinate the organization of competitions, courses, and student Startup projects.
• Organizing pre-business supplementary training courses for students such as: Course on Communication and working in an office environment, Advanced course "IT for office workers", Course on improving CV and practical interview skills...

Bringing students to businesses and welcoming businessmen to school

According to MSc. Pham Thi Dung, the Center not only has the task of connecting and introducing jobs to students but also is a place for generations of alumni and trainees to return and use the University's human resource recruitment support ecosystem. At the same time, the Center is also a bridge between the University and experts and entrepreneurs in coordinating training, supporting students in studying, interning, and starting a business.

Dai Nam University signed with BGS Global "Project to sponsor and advise 1000 young people to start a business following the BGS Global model".

In addition, the Center is also a place to train and transfer startup knowledge for young people with passion. With Startup competitions organized by the Center, students are directly guided by a team of experienced experts from leading businesses in Vietnam. Startup funds from businesses will be awarded to excellent projects that are put into implementation.

After successfully starting a business, these students will become the next generation of experts, continuing to accompany the Center in "cultivating" the future generation of DNU.

With the development goal - vision to become the largest place to support Jobs and Start-ups for students in the Southwest of Hanoi by 2030, each officer and employee of the "Student Jobs and Start-ups" Center is working together to carry out the assigned tasks. The Center will develop day by day, surpassing itself to ensure that students can study as best as possible, graduate and have good jobs with high and stable incomes to have a good life and be good citizens as the mission of the School.
