The Department of Training is tasked with consulting and supporting the Presidents in organizing and managing all the training activities in Dai Nam University.
II. Responsibilities
1. Consulting the President in planning the training strategy
2. Preparing all training management document
3. Building and managing all learning programs and textbooks for students
- Guiding and checking the registration documents for new programs;
- Organizing and updating programs of the university;
- Managing training programs of all departments;
4. Cooperating with other departments in the task of student admission
- Building plans for student admission and presenting to the President;
- Preparing admission content, information and organizing the admission consultation and promotion activities;
- Fulfilling all necessary duties of the admission mission;
- Storing tests and test results; conducting the duties after examinations.
5. Building and managing the training plan
- Building the general training plan for every academic year; cooperating with other departments to build the training plan for every semester (except some special programs managed by other departments);
- Designing course schedules for full-time classes;
- Setting final examinations for every semester;
- Managing lecturers’ working hours.
6. Managing learning process and results
- Classifying majors and classes for students;
- Managing the process of learning registration and graduation qualification;
- Preparing class member lists and grade reports;
- Preparing and confirming original grade reports;
- Monitoring the grade input, adjustment and storage for the students and departments;
- Collecting and analyzing students’ learning results at the end of every semester;
- Settling situations of temporary leave, permanent ban, school transfer, semester delay…
- Checking conditions for graduation exams and thesis defense; organizing graduation grading committee; confirming graduation and preparing list of graduating students;
- Issuing the learning result confirmation and graduation confirmation by the request of students and students’ parents.
7. Managing the printing and granting of certificates and decrees
- Managing the embryo of certificates and decrees issue by the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Printing the graduation decree and graduation transcriptions;
- Managing certificate and decree information; confirming certificate and decree information;
8. Supporting the training fee management
- Judging the scholarship for students;
- Calculating the fees for training programs (lecturing fee, examination fee, internship fee, graduation fee…).
9. Other responsibilities
- Maintaining, developing and supporting other departments in using the training management software (including the web-based information system);
- Managing and using the infrastructure and equipment given to the department;
- Cooperating with other departments to implement the duties set by the President.
