Dai Nam University summarizes the 2024 - 2025 school year: Marks of innovation, strategic vision and typical faces

“Dai Nam University has the aspiration to create an innovative, humane and internationally integrated education system. Our mission is to train graduates to have a good life, be good citizens, actively contribute to changing the face of Vietnamese higher education and building a strong country.” That was the affirmation of Dr. Le Dac Son, Chairman of the University Council at the “Closing Ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year and Awarding of emulation and commendation titles” on the morning of October 5.

One school year - a journey of innovation

On the morning of October 5, the "Closing Ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year and Awarding of emulation and reward titles" of Dai Nam University took place in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, with the participation of nearly 1,300 officers, lecturers and staff.

Not only is it an occasion to look back on a year of efforts and achievements, the ceremony also affirms the strategic vision and social mission that DNU steadfastly pursues – an education that is “practical in learning and practical in practice”, closely linked with businesses and international integration.

Over the past school year, Dai Nam University has made strong strides in quality assessment, opening new majors, international cooperation, digital transformation, AI application in teaching and learning, and a series of joint programs with businesses to help students shorten the gap between the classroom and practice.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Principal of the School shared: "With the theme Open lecture hall - Accompanying businesses - Accelerating technology, DNU continues to innovate comprehensively to create a learning environment that helps students grow up, be confident, integrate and have good jobs."

10 STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS TO CREATE THE FUTURE

Dr. Le Dac Son inspired the people when announcing 10 strategic orientations for the new development stage:

1. The output standard is employment - 90% of students are committed to having a job in their field within 6 months of graduation.

2. Standardize digital and AI competencies - each graduate has a “digital competency passport”.

3. English is the second language at DNU.

4. Flipped Learning + AI + Enterprise learning model.

5. Building DNU Center of Excellence in Applied Research.

6. Establish Dai Nam Scholarship and Development Fund.

7. Forming a startup ecosystem - jobs with DNU Start-up incubator.

8. Publication of DNU White Paper.

9. Spread the culture of "For dedicated learners".

10. Honoring the value of DNU teachers – conveying aspirations to each generation of students.

Dr. Le Dac Son emphasized : “If we do not together make a revolution in the quality of education today, tomorrow the country will have to pay a very high price, and history will not forgive...”

Honoring intelligence, aspiration and dedication

At the ceremony, the School honored outstanding collectives and individuals , including: 2 collectives and 9 individuals who completed their tasks exceptionally well; 5 units and 30 individuals who completed their tasks excellently; 6 units and 8 individuals who completed their tasks very well; 14 units and 127 individuals who completed their tasks well.

These numbers are not only results, but also evidence of the intelligence, dedication and innovative spirit of the staff, lecturers and employees - those who are silently building strength for Dai Nam.

Continuing the flame of responsibility and aspiration

At the end of the ceremony, pride lingered in every eye and every round of applause. It was not only a reward for a brilliant year, but also the starting point for a new journey - where each teacher and each Dai Nam staff member was fueled with the fire of responsibility and belief in the mission of "devoted to students, for a strong future of the country".

Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh - Head of the Faculty of Medicine: "Training doctors is not only about teaching a profession, but also about instilling in them love, medical ethics and a spirit of service."

Mr. Tran Dang Cong - Head of IT Department: "Technology changes every day, we have to be one step ahead so that Dai Nam students are ready for the digital age."

Mr. Tran Hai Duong - Head of Korean Language & Culture Department: "We hope students will become cultural bridges, bringing the image of Dai Nam and Vietnam to the world."

Ms. Cao Thi Quynh - Head of Admissions Department: “Admissions is the gateway to trust. We want every parent and student to know Dai Nam with quality and heart.”
