Dai Nam University hosts the Book and Action Gala, gathering book lovers from all over the country.

Realizing the importance of reading in training and developing a comprehensive human being, right from the first days of its establishment, Dai Nam University has paid special attention to building and developing a reading culture in the community of teachers and students. With the desire to become a bridge connecting the hearts of book lovers, spreading and forming a reading culture in the student community nationwide, Dai Nam University hosts the Book and Action Gala - The Hyphen. The program will take place on January 21 with the participation of nearly 2,000 students from more than 100 high schools nationwide.

Sharing the reason for choosing Dai Nam University as the host of the Book and Action Gala - The Hyphen, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang - Permanent Vice President of BNA Vietnam 2023 said: “With the theme Hyphen - Continuing, BNA is very proud to accompany Dai Nam University on a new journey, in a new stage of development. Just like the school's mission of "Training graduates to have a good life and be good citizens", the activities that BNA carries out are always aimed at building a community of young people who live decently and responsibly. The Book and Action Gala is an annual event to summarize the activities of clubs and projects; thereby honoring individuals and organizations with many outstanding contributions and activities in the past year. At the same time, this is also an event that connects book lovers from all over the country through attractive and interesting discussion programs, competitions, teambuilding games, etc.

This year, the Book and Action Gala has the theme “The Hyphen” – Continuation. This is an affirmation of the effort to spread the reading culture without end. At the same time, it shows the continuity of the past - present as the foundation for a developing future - “loving books, respecting books”.

Professor and historian Le Van Lan shared and encouraged the DNU Book and Action Club - the core force of the University to spread love and promote the habit of self-study and lifelong reading of Dai Nam students.
