Dai Nam University Health Department visits 2 major universities: Experience exchange - Training cooperation

With the desire to develop a modern Preclinical training system on par with large, long-standing medical and pharmaceutical training institutions in the country; to create the best learning environment for students, recently, Dai Nam University visited and worked at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Nam Dinh University of Nursing to exchange experiences in organizing Preclinical training.

The delegation was led by Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal, along with leaders of the faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Finance - Accounting, and Administration.

Participating in welcoming the Delegation at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tien - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Cuong - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Principal; comrades in the Party Committee, University Council, School Board; leaders of relevant departments, centers, faculties, and units.

Leaders of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy directly led the delegation to visit the Simulation and Skills Training Center.

Speaking at the meeting with Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong said: Dai Nam University has participated in training high-quality human resources for the health sector since 2013. In addition to the training program and the quality of the teaching staff, Dai Nam pays special attention to investing in developing the system of facilities serving training, including the construction of a Preclinical Practice Center to serve the training of students in the fields of Medicine and Nursing.

Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh - Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dai Nam University, directly experienced the practical equipment of the Simulation and Skills Training Center.

The delegation visited the Simulation and Skills Training Center (formerly the Preclinical Skills Training Center); Nursing Department of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

It is known that, due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, clinical practice at hospitals for students is very limited, but the Simulation and Skills Training Center still meets the needs of teaching and learning with modern and smart models and equipment.

The delegation visited and worked at Nam Dinh University of Nursing.

At Nam Dinh University of Nursing, the School's delegation visited and worked directly with the leaders of Nam Dinh University of Nursing on the work of building and organizing Pre-clinical training for Nursing students.

The visit and work with Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Nam Dinh University of Nursing was a great success. The experiences in building and organizing Preclinical training shared during the trip promise to bring many positive innovations in DNU's Preclinical training.
