On May 28, the Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University organized a Children's Day program on June 1 for children in Phao hamlet, Van Chai village, and the Red River sandbank, along with the students of the Faculty of Business Administration of Dai Nam University. The program included many fun activities and many attractive gifts with the meaning of sharing love for the children here.
Phao Hamlet, also known as the "floating house" Hamlet on the sandbank in the middle of the Red River, located in residential area No. 1, Phuc Xa Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, has existed for more than 20 years. In the hamlet, there are about 31 children of school age, but many of them do not have birth certificates. The children here mostly do not attend preschool classes. When they are of school age, they often attend charity classes. Some children are sent to school by their parents, but most of them only finish primary school and then drop out to work with their families to earn a living. That is what prompted the members of the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team to organize a Children's Day dedicated to the children in Phao Hamlet, with the desire to share, help them, and bring joy, smiles, and gifts as International Children's Day on June 1 is approaching.

The Children's Day program was organized by members of the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team with the support of the Sharing and Connection group at a small plot of land near Phao hamlet. The fairy tales were recreated by Dai Nam students in a lively and humorous way, bringing laughter to the children and their parents. In particular, the program also brought 31 gifts and 31 "love" meals to the children. In addition, the Volunteer Student Team also visited each household of the children absent from the list to give gifts and listen to their parents share about their difficult lives.
The program is a meaningful gift that Dai Nam Volunteer Student Team gives to the children in Xom Phao. Sharing and helping, bringing joy to the children, hoping that they will have a meaningful and memorable Children's Day.
