Dai Nam Eco Fashion Show Final: DNU Students Affirm Their Mission to Protect the Green Planet

100 gorgeous recycled outfits and the skillful performance of student models turned Dai Nam Eco Fashion Show into a classy and explosive fashion "party". This is a testament to the students' unlimited talent and creativity; at the same time, it is a strong affirmation of the responsibility of "Protecting the environment - Maintaining a green planet" of teachers and students of Dai Nam University (DNU) to society.

The final round of Eco Fashion Show season 2 took place within the framework of the Rally to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

The Final Night exploded with high-class fashion shows from the faculties of Tourism, Accounting, Pharmacy, Nursing, English Language, Chinese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture, E-Commerce and Digital Economy, Business Administration, Communications... Each collection has a story, a message told through creative artistic language.

The "Green Puzzle" collection by students of the Tourism Faculty of Dai Nam University made a strong impression with its trendy, highly applicable designs made from old jeans and cardboard. Through it, it conveys the message: "Each person's life will become more beautiful when preserving and protecting the green environment."

The collection "One Round of Vietnam" by the Faculty of Communication brings to Dai Nam Eco Fashion Show unique designs, expressing the cultural identity of Vietnam through each region. The materials of silk paper, newspaper, and burlap are all safe for the environment, contributing to conveying the message: Protecting the green - clean - beautiful environment, while preserving the national cultural identity for Vietnamese youth.

Proud of the costume recreating the Vietnamese national flag. The red flag with a five-pointed yellow star is the soul of the nation, the eternal pride, the sacred and inviolable symbol of the Vietnamese national identity.

Bronze drum, a wonderful artistic masterpiece of ancient Vietnamese people is recreated through the costume "Dai Viet Bronze Drum".

The collection “Dai Nam through history” recreates the heroic periods of the country through dynasties and periods. Through extremely creative and meaningful costumes recycled from newspapers and sacks, students of the Faculty of Business Administration have expressed their national pride and the spirit of preserving traditional cultural identity.

The collection “Rose in bloom” of the Faculty of Pharmacy is a message “Every woman is a beautiful flower. Love yourself - be yourself to become a flower confidently blooming with your own beauty”.

Old documents are cleverly crafted into large roses and angel wings to create the beauty of the “Rose Angel” costume.

The English Language Department’s “The Galaxy” collection is a call for the GenZ generation to join hands to protect the common home of humanity. In particular, the collection also conveys a meaningful message about respecting differences; here, Dai Nam University is likened to a miniature Galaxy, in which each student is a separate star, respected, facilitated and shines in his or her own way.

Extremely Slay performance, recreating the sweet, vibrant beauty of the children of the Earth family.

The collection “Con Rong Chau Tien” by the Department of Chinese Language and Culture is an affirmation that 54 ethnic groups are all brothers and sisters of the same family. The collection has guided Gen Z back to the roots of the nation, which our ancestors left behind thousands of years ago. From there, it reminds everyone to make constant efforts in studying as well as protecting the environment, protecting the country, being grateful and inheriting the cultural and historical traditions of the nation.

Through the colorful costumes, the Faculty of E-Commerce and Digital Economy wants to send the message: “We are not only people living on the earth but also people responsible for protecting it. Let's act together to preserve and protect our seas and our country for a bright future.”

The “Green Living” collection of the Nursing Faculty is a message to everyone about a beautiful lifestyle, where waste is recycled effectively, where people's awareness of environmental protection is at its highest.

Through images of adorable animals and meaningful, humane stories, the Faculty of Accounting has conveyed a strong message about protecting wildlife and the habitat of all species.

The Department of Korean Language and Culture brought the audience to the beautiful country of Korea and discovered the breathtakingly beautiful Hanbok. It is hard to believe that 100% of the costumes are recycled from trash.

First prize went to the Faculty of Tourism with its practical application, skillful professional performance, and "sky-high" charisma.

Second Prize for LCĐ Faculty of Business Administration and Faculty of Communication.

Third Prize was awarded to the Faculty of Pharmacy, English Language, and Chinese Language and Culture.

The Department of Accounting, E-Commerce and Digital Economy, Nursing, and Korean Language and Culture won the Encouragement Prize.

10 minutes of turning off the lights, holding hands and singing the song "Linking Big Arms", responding to Earth Hour 2024 is one of the activities "for a green planet" of Dai Nam University students.

Dai Nam Eco Fashion Show season 2 has ended but the beautiful images of the program will remain forever in the minds of each participant.
