Hyperlipidemia is also known as “lipid metabolism disorder”. Lipids in the blood include cholesterol, cholesteride, triglyceride, phospholipid and free fatty acids. Lipids do not exist in free form but are attached to proteins, forming lipoproteins. Types of lipoproteins include: Chylomicron, very low density lipoprotein (VLD), intermediate density lipoprotein (IDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and high density lipoprotein (HDL). Chylomicron only exists for a very short time and is cleared very quickly in the liver, while HDL has the ability to transport excess cholesterol from cells to the liver, so it is called useful cholesterol or lipoprotein.
Hyperlipidemia is recognized when total cholesterol, LDL and triglyceride levels increase, while HDL levels decrease. When in excess, these substances deposit and adhere to blood vessel walls, causing atherosclerosis.
According to the World Health Organization, the cause of death in developed countries is heart and vascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis, which accounts for 45%, of which coronary artery disease is 32%, cerebrovascular disease is 13%, not including deaths due to myocardial infarction... Synthetic chemical drugs are effective, but leave many unwanted syndromes such as digestive disorders, muscle pain, increased liver enzymes, increased bilirubin, increased uric acid in the blood, hypotension, cataracts... People with liver disease, kidney disease, stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers should not use synthetic chemical drugs.
Cholessen – Decotra Company’s product distributed by Senudo Company is made from lotus leaf and hawthorn fruit essence, completely meeting the criteria for treating hyperlipidemia, because this product is of natural origin, when entering the body it adapts very quickly, does not cause unwanted effects, because these substances already exist in the cells of lotus leaves and hawthorn fruit, completely different from modern medicine, because they have never existed in cells, but are only created through chemical synthesis reactions.
Lotus leaves are also called "lien ha diep" when used raw, they cool the blood, dissolve blood stasis, when used cooked, they nourish the heart, benefit the stomach, and calm the nerves. In modern medicine, lotus leaves are proven to have

The effect of protecting against arrhythmias caused by calcium ion currents. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Industry, Jadavpur University, India, has proven that the antioxidant effect of lotus leaf extract at a dose of 100mg/kg is equal to the antioxidant effect of Vitamin E at a dose of 50mg/kg body weight. Studies have also shown that flavonoid compounds in lotus leaves have the effect of inhibiting lipid peroxidation in liver cell membranes... That is why a series of drugs prepared from lotus leaves such as Leonuxin, are effective in treating premature ventricular contractions up to 85%, Senin tablets have been studied on 30 patients with functional premature ventricular contractions, showing 75% good results. The medicine consists of lotus leaves combined with 6 other medicinal herbs that have the effect of lowering blood pressure, improving speech ability, and ability to move limbs in stroke patients. The mechanism of action is to dilate capillaries, lower blood pressure and reduce cholesterol.
When combined with the essence of hawthorn fruit, to prepare Cholessen, it gives a very special flavor. Hawthorn is also known as "Wild hawthorn" or "Vietnamese hawthorn". In traditional medicine, hawthorn has the effect of strengthening the spleen, stimulating digestion, treating bloating due to eating too much fat, meat, fish... Digesting stagnant food, dissolving blood stasis, treating meat residue, blood that does not go away after giving birth, transforming blood clots, transforming gas, activating blood... Traditional physicians discuss hawthorn as follows: Hawthorn has the ability to break down food, digest food residue, circulate blood stasis, dissolve the accumulation of dirty grease, transform blood stasis without damaging new blood, and open up stagnant gas without damaging the vital energy. China has clinically evaluated the cholesterol-lowering effect on 20 patients: Before treatment, the blood cholesterol level was 253.2 mg%, after treatment it returned to normal level of 207 mg%.
In the book “Complete Herbal Medicine” Andrew Chevallier wrote: “European hawthorn is a medicinal herb that symbolizes hope for many diseases… Today it is used mainly for heart disease and circulatory disorders, especially angina pectoris. European studies consider hawthorn fruit as “food for the heart”… From the 16th to the 18th century, Gerard Culperper and k'Eogh listed many effects of hawthorn, but regarding the effects on blood and cardiovascular system, the Irish doctor was the first to successfully treat many diseases of blood and cardiovascular system. A research project in Germany has proven: Bioflavonoids in hawthorn fruit have the effect of dilating coronary arteries, increasing blood flow to the heart, preventing vascular degeneration, improving heart rate and lowering blood pressure.
In Vietnam, research projects of the University of Pharmacy and Hanoi University of Education have proven: The group of mice fed fatty food increased their weight by 44.5%.

Blood components such as total cholesterol increased by 67.3%, triglyceride increased by 46.2%, LDC increased by 28.6% and glucose increased by 18.3%. Then the mice were treated with different fractions of hawthorn extract and the following results were obtained: (1) Regarding the effect of weight loss, the Ethylaxetate fraction caused a 9.5% reduction, the Chlorofoc fraction caused a 3.8% reduction, and the alcohol fraction caused a 8.9% reduction. (2) Obese mice were treated with the Ethylaxetate fraction for 14 days, causing a 10.3% reduction in total cholesterol, a 31.16% reduction in triglyceride, and a 14.3% reduction in blood glucose. The PubMed website also reported that the flavonoid fraction also has the effect of inhibiting cancer cells.
Cholessen soft capsules can prevent 7 complications such as: Stroke, high blood fat, atherosclerosis, hepatitis and fatty liver, type 2 diabetes, numbness in limbs and dementia.
