Business Administration students are connected to businesses right at the 2022-2023 School Year Summary Conference

On August 18, the Faculty of Business Administration organized the "2022-2023 Academic Year Summary Conference for Students" to summarize the work of the 2022-2023 academic year; commend and reward class officers, union officers and outstanding students with good achievements in the 2022-2023 academic year. In addition, discuss experiences and propose plans to improve the quality of study in the 2023-2023 academic year.

The program was attended by: Board of Directors; leaders of Departments, Offices, Faculties, Institutes, Centers; leaders, staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University; representatives of businesses that are strategic partners of the Faculty and the University.

Speaking at the Conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University highly appreciated the learning activities and movements of teachers and students of the Faculty of Business Administration.

Accordingly, in the 2022-2023 school year, the Faculty of Business Administration completed the accreditation of the business administration training program and opened a new major - Marketing (majoring in Digital Marketing).

“I hope that the Faculty will have more breakthroughs in the scale of students and lecturers in the 2023-2024 school year; maintaining its position as one of the leading faculties of the Economics - Business sector of Dai Nam University”, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong emphasized.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong shared his passion about strengths and weaknesses and gave suggestions for the development orientation of the Faculty of Business Administration for the new school year, laying a stepping stone for the following years.

To review the achievements of the Faculty of Business Administration in the 2022-2023 school year, Mr. Duong Minh Tu - Deputy Dean of the Faculty approved the year-end report and announced the plan for the 2023-2024 school year.

He emphasized: “The last school year was a pivotal year when learning activities returned to normal, after a long period of interruption due to Covid-19. However, lecturers and students in the Faculty adapted very quickly, with a low dropout rate (6.67%). The number of students with good or excellent academic performance accounted for a high percentage of 12.3%. The number of students in the 13th course graduating in the first batch accounted for 64.8%, the rest will graduate in September 2023. Notably, in the last school year, the number of lecturers in the Faculty increased by over 100%, with a new team of young, enthusiastic and talented lecturers”.

With the encouraging results of the Faculty of Business Administration, Rencity Real Estate Investment, Trade and Services Joint Stock Company awarded 06 scholarships to the students with the most outstanding achievements. At the same time, representatives of enterprises directly shared and answered students' questions about careers, labor market, internship opportunities and recruitment...

Mr. Duong Minh Tu affirmed: With the motto "Theory goes hand in hand with practice", the Faculty of Business Administration constantly expands cooperation and regularly accompanies business partners in training knowledge and practicing skills to train and provide the labor market with talented young generations.

Also at the Conference, 41 outstanding students with good academic achievements were recognized and rewarded by the Faculty. This spiritual gift after a year of hard study is hoped to be a motivation for them to try harder in the next school year.

Not only have good academic achievements, students of the Faculty of Business Administration have always maintained their leading position in the Youth Union and movement activities in the past school year. To promote the Youth Union and class management activities, 18 excellent class officers and Youth Union officers were recognized by the Faculty. Hopefully, future administrators will take the experience of class management as their first lessons when graduating.

The leaders of the Faculty of Business Administration awarded certificates of merit to the students.

Four classes, representing different courses, are considered comprehensive, leading, and outstanding in all aspects: Digital marketing 14-01, QTKD 15-06, QTKD 16-02, and KDQT 16-01 were awarded by the Faculty as "Excellent Class".

Another school year has passed, the results achieved are the result of the tireless efforts of the faculty and students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University. In order for the 2023-2024 school year to achieve more outstanding achievements than the previous year, the Faculty needs to strive to do better to successfully complete the set goals and development orientations.
