Before the high school exam, candidates rushed to consider their transcripts for admission.

While waiting for the 2023 high school graduation exam, many candidates have chosen to register for admission based on their transcripts to reduce exam pressure and proactively choose their favorite major and university.
Massive consideration of high school transcripts to reduce exam pressure, ensure university admission
Candidates register for admission to Dai Nam University based on transcripts.
The method of considering transcripts is considered a new admission method compared to traditional methods such as exams, submitting applications, etc., but up to now this method has been very popular and effective, the reason being that the transcript results are the learning results of 3 years of high school and deserve to become the "key" to open the university door for candidates.
Regarding admission to the Pharmacy major at Dai Nam University (DNU), Nguyen Khanh Linh from Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted (Yen Bai) said: “I have researched and consulted many admission methods of universities. I realize that the admission method based on high school transcripts helps increase the chances of being admitted to the desired major and university, helping me reduce some of the pressure before taking the upcoming high school exam.”
Accordingly, with 26 points in the A00 admission combination and excellent 12th grade academic performance, Khanh Linh is very confident that she will be admitted to the Pharmacy major at DNU.

Sharing about the decision to consider high school transcripts for admission to the Computer Science major at DNU, Quoc Cuong - Le Quy Don High School (Hanoi) said: "In recent years, the benchmark for the Computer Science major has always been in the top and fluctuated very unpredictably. Especially, in the context that we have to study online from grade 10 to the first half of grade 12, choosing to consider high school transcripts will help reduce the pressure of exams and increase the chance of being admitted to university."
Quoc Cuong added: "I chose DNU's Computer Science major because the training program is oriented towards the Japanese market with Japanese language scholarships, Japanese soft skills scholarships and guaranteed output."
According to the DNU Admissions Office, the number of candidates applying for admission based on their high school transcripts has increased dramatically as the exam period approaches. 50% of the applications are focused on majors such as: Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, E-Commerce, English, Chinese, Korean, Multimedia Communications, etc.
Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing – are the core training majors of DNU.
Explaining the phenomenon of candidates rushing to consider high school transcripts for admission before the high school graduation exam, Ms. Cao Thi Quynh - Head of DNU Admissions Department said: Candidates prioritize considering high school transcripts for admission not only because of the unpredictable situation of score distribution and floor score thresholds of schools, but also because of the advantages of this form of admission: proactive, simple, fair, no luck - risk, high chance of admission...
Ms. Quynh further advised: “Candidates should take advantage of the golden period of high school transcript admission to ensure admission to their favorite major because the benchmark score by this method often fluctuates strongly after the high school exam scores are released. Especially for “hot” majors such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, the “floor” score and benchmark score of DNU are always quite high. Therefore, candidates who apply for high school transcript admission as soon as possible will have more advantages…”.

Confidently open the classroom by reviewing academic records
Currently, many candidates and parents still do not understand the high school transcript admission method correctly, thinking that this is a "secondary" admission method and that successful candidates do not enjoy the same benefits as other admission methods.
Explaining this issue, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University said: "Students who are admitted by any method will study together, have the same training program, enjoy the same student support services, and have the same degree value."
In the 2023-2024 school year, DNU will enroll full-time undergraduate students in 24 majors in 04 groups: Health (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing); Economics - Business (Business Administration, International Business, Marketing - major in Digital Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Sports Management - major in Sports Economics and Marketing, Tourism, Accounting, Finance - Banking, Economic Law, E-commerce, Digital Economy); Engineering - Technology (Information Technology, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering Technology) and Social Sciences & Humanities (Public Relations, Multimedia Communications, English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Oriental Studies - major in Japan) according to 04 methods: considering grade 12 transcripts, considering high school graduation exam scores, direct admission, considering foreign high school graduates.
IT is one of the leading majors in the number of applications for admission to DNU in each university admission season.
With the admission method of considering transcripts, candidates must have an average score of 18 points or higher in a combination of 3 subjects to be eligible for admission. For the Health sector, it is necessary to comply with the quality assurance threshold of the Ministry of Education and Training. Specifically: For the Medicine and Pharmacy sectors, candidates must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as excellent and a total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination of 24 points or higher. For the Nursing sector, candidates must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as fair or higher and a total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination of 19.5 points or higher.
