Training the potential thinking ability of each individual Law student, especially in the field of Economic Law, will not only exploit and develop the student's thinking but also stimulate the qualities of each person in 4 aspects such as: communication, persuasion, quick reflexes and self-confidence. From there, it will greatly help Law students develop themselves in the future.

So what effect does studying Economic Law have on “awakening” the hidden abilities in each individual? Please refer to the article below to have a more general view of those pursuing this field!

Studying Economic Law helps to awaken and develop many hidden qualities

Law is a special field of study unlike many other fields of study, because of the diversity in the development of the potential thinking ability of students studying this field. Studying Law, students will develop the ability to think in language, communication, inner thoughts and also a little bit of logical mathematical thinking, which means that 4/8 types of thinking ability (Professor Howard Gardner's theory of "multiple intelligences") are exploited and found in law students and more than those studying architecture, engineering, etc.

By pursuing a degree in Economic Law, students will develop many potential qualities.

In addition, studying Economic Law will help "awaken" many hidden abilities in each individual, such as:

1. Communication skills

Unlike other fields of study that focus on physical activity such as physical education and sports, law students must use their communication skills to be tactful when working with partners and clients. The law program requires you to always start and run your mouth at full capacity. Good communication skills will help students majoring in economic law create social relationships that support their work, or help them retain clients, and create transactions and cooperation contracts between the parties.

Because of the nature of the profession requiring good communication, the Economic Law program at Dai Nam University always focuses on training in legal practice and regular communication skills so that students can be confident, speak fluently, raise questions and communicate skillfully.

2. Persuasion skills

Not only after graduation but also during the course of study, students majoring in Economic Law must always apply legal regulations and their own understanding to argue, give reasons and analyze for the audience to accept. If the arguments and reasons you give are supported and believed by the majority, it means that you have convinced the audience.

This is also an important quality of law students, understanding the importance of persuasion skills, in the process of training in Economic Law, the Faculty of Law - Dai Nam University always focuses on practicing law through mock trials, learning by role-playing, etc. From there, it helps students practice argumentative thinking and persuasion skills so that each word, each evidence presented is highly convincing to the listener.

3. Quick reflex thinking

People who study economic law often have “a cool head, a warm heart and clean hands”, a cool head to stay alert, calm, and have quick reflexes to handle legal issues. However, they also need to be humane and have a warm heart to be moderate in their handling of things, not rigid. At the same time, they also need to keep their hands clean in an extremely tempting environment and not let any unfortunate things happen during their practice.

This is the professional motto of those who study law in general and economic law in particular. Reflexive thinking is not only a quality but also a requirement of law students. Before each situation arises, they need to react quickly to shape the way to handle and solve each problem.

4. Self-confidence

If you are not confident enough, you cannot become a lawyer. If you are shy, all the qualities of communication skills, persuasion skills and quick thinking will not be clearly revealed. This is something that will definitely happen to shy law students. After graduation, they will change their career direction and not continue working in the field they studied.

However, it is not true that shy people cannot study law, but those who study law at the Faculty of Economic Law - Dai Nam University will be trained and gradually become more confident. The Law program contributes to promoting and inspiring confidence in each student with the method of presentation, debate, and argumentation throughout the four years of study.
