Halloween Night 2018 "Heaven in Hell" will be held on the night of October 31st, at Phu Lam facility, Ha Dong, Hanoi.

What is traditional Halloween?

Halloween originated from Christianity and the legend of All Saints' Night or All Souls' Night. Usually, Halloween is celebrated from evening until 12 midnight on the last day of October.

The name Halloween or Hallowe'en dates back to around 1745 and is of Christian origin. The word “Halloween” means holy or holy evening. It comes from the Scottish term All Hallows' Eve. In Scots, the word eve is even (evening) in English, which is also shortened to e'en or een. Over time, All Hallows' Eve gradually became Halloween.

Nowadays, Halloween is no longer a strange concept to Vietnamese youth, especially students. Many high schools, colleges, and universities often organize activities and events on this occasion.

With the theme “Heaven in Hell”, the Halloween event organized by Dai Nam University on October 31 promises to bring unexpected and exciting experiences to DNU students.

The show "Heaven in Hell" has the participation of many famous faces .

Students participating in the event are encouraged to dress up in a festive atmosphere with costumes in black, white, red and orange tones and will compete in a special costume contest with many attractive prizes. The organizers encourage creative costumes that are invested in and homemade with materials such as pumpkins, plastic, bottles, straws, newspapers, sacks, leaves, ice cream sticks, cardboard, etc.
