After a long and arduous journey, fully meeting all the strict requirements on human resources, facilities, and training programs, on January 9, 2020, the Minister of Education and Training issued Decision No. 87/QD-BGDDT on allowing Dai Nam University to organize undergraduate medical training. After the regular university entrance exam in 2020, the Faculty of Medicine officially organized training from the 2020-2021 school year. Up to now, the first course of medical students have studied and experienced at Dai Nam University for more than 1 month. On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, let's hear what the new medical students say about our Dai Nam University!

Freshman Pham Thi Hai Anh - General Medicine class 14-01 : “I would like to share from the bottom of my heart that: Dai Nam University was not my first choice when I wanted to become a Doctor. But from the moment I stepped into the school gate until now, after studying for a month, a feeling of closeness, affection and trust has filled my heart. And especially, during the 14th freshman integration week, we directly heard the President share about the vision and mission of the School; about the responsibility of teachers towards students and society, we are truly assured about our choice…

New student Pham Thi Hai Anh, representing medical students, shared her feelings at the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year, course I, majoring in medicine.

Writer Henry Brooks Adams once said: “A teacher’s influence is eternal, we do not know when it will end.” That is a saying that shows the importance of teachers to each of our futures. On this joyful and full opening day, we would like to share our sincere feelings with our teachers.

Entering the university gate is truly the dream and aspiration of many people that not everyone can have. We will try to study hard to not disappoint our teachers and parents. However, we are still young, there are still many temptations out there, certainly in the learning process we will have times when we make our teachers have headaches and feel uncomfortable. We hope that our teachers will always be by our side, be tolerant of us, and teach us wholeheartedly. If you say it once and we don't understand, then you will definitely understand it twice; if you say it harshly and we don't listen, then you will definitely say it gently and we will understand...

Hai Anh confidently shared her views on social issues during the 14th freshman integration week.

We believe that with the care and enthusiastic support of the School's leaders, the Faculty Board, functional departments, mass organizations, teachers, staff... along with our own efforts, we will overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities and strive to become good doctors to care for and protect people's health. New student Nguyen Thuy Duong - class YDK 14-01: "In the first days of my student life, like other students, although there were many surprises and difficulties, I was very happy, proud and full of emotions about student life.
