What did the first-year female student in her 40s, Faculty of Pharmacy, who finished with the highest score in the entire course, say on her first day of school?

“After so many days of anxious waiting! Luckily, the day of going to school still went as planned. I breathed a sigh of relief.” That was the first confession of the first-year “student” who looked forward to going to school every day. She is Pham Thach Quy, born in 1984, a first-year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Dai Nam University.

“I consider myself a rather special student when I decided to pursue my passion for Pharmacy when I was in my late 40s. However, choosing a major and a school has never been easy. Especially for me, a former student and a “hardcore” officer, this choice does not allow me to make mistakes, not to mention that my time is no longer leisurely compared to young people who have just entered university.

That’s why, before choosing a school, I searched all the websites, reading wherever “Dai Nam” was mentioned. Not yet satisfied, I asked many brothers and friends who are very successful in the field of Pharmacy; asked former students and students of Dai Nam Pharmacy; even asked new graduates of Hanoi University of Pharmacy who had just found a job… All of them answered me “I SHOULD STUDY PHARMACY AT DAI NAM UNIVERSITY”.

As an Engineer graduated from a public university with a tradition of more than 60 years, 15 years of working experience, and enough practical experience, I wondered: Dai Nam University has only been established for 15 years, the Faculty of Pharmacy has only been training for 9 years, why is it so well evaluated? And the first semester has ended and given me the answer.

The subject teachers, homeroom teachers, faculty leaders, and school leaders are very friendly, cheerful, and caring towards students; dedicated to teaching, serious in studying and taking exams. To pass exams, especially to get high scores, is not easy for Dai Nam Pharmacy students. And I am proud to finish the first semester with the highest score of 9.13 in the whole course.

In addition, the school focuses on equipping students with soft skills - something that few universities can do. In particular, students are also evaluated on the quality of lecturers after each semester to choose the best lecturers to teach them. This is what I and my fellow students like, appreciate and feel most secure about.

However, I still think that private schools cannot have facilities as spacious and spacious as public schools funded by the State. But on the first day of school, I was very surprised. The school is very large, the air is fresh, in addition to the building in use, the practice areas, the sports field, the playground system, the multi-purpose gym, the dormitory for students, the school is also preparing to complete a modern high-rise building to serve the study of students.

With 15 years of experience working in the construction field, at first glance I knew that the material value of the project must be calculated in the unit of “trillions”. Only with seriousness and dedication to the cause of education could the School Board invest such a large amount of money!
