Knowing about the contest through the introduction of teachers in the IT department, Nguyen Duc Tung and his friends registered for the contest “for fun”. However, after learning about the contest carefully, especially the information that the best contestants would be selected to participate in the national and international “Office Informatics Champion” contest, Tung was strongly motivated.

“From participating in the experience, I am determined to achieve a high score in this competition. With what I have shown, I really hope that I will win a high prize to be selected as a representative of Dai Nam University to participate in the national “Office Informatics Championship” competition held next March…”, Tung shared.

In addition to setting clear goals, Nguyen Duc Tung also said that participating in the contest also helps you review and consolidate your office computer knowledge in a more systematic way.

Cam Nhung confided: “This is the first time I have participated in an office IT competition. I do not focus on the prize. Opportunity to compete and challenge yourself in major intellectual playgrounds

Sharing with us, MSc. Pham To Nga - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the first MOSDNU competition said: In addition to providing professional knowledge, Dai Nam University pays great attention to training soft skills, foreign languages and information technology, including office information technology for students. Currently, training office information technology skills for students is being built and implemented by the University according to the trend of catching up with the general development of society. Office information technology skills are trained in 2 phases: Phase 1 provides basic skills; Phase 2 provides specialized skills and direct application in the profession, helping students equip themselves with skills suitable for future work.

This is the biggest improvement in DNU's IT skills training program, helping students after graduation confidently apply for jobs and effectively apply them in their future work…” said Master Pham To Nga.

According to MSc. Pham To Nga, the first MOSDNU competition was organized to help students consolidate and systematize their knowledge of office informatics; creating conditions for students to access office informatics skills according to international standards.

Assessing the general knowledge level of the candidates in the preliminary round, MSc. Pham To Nga said: Most of the candidates have a good grasp of basic office computer skills. Especially in the Word section, they did well and mastered basic skills. In the Excel section, some candidates have mastered advanced skills. This is a good sign.
