In the exciting atmosphere of welcoming the new year, the "Warm Porridge" program No. 3 of the Dai Nam University Volunteer Student Team has begun again.

In the exciting atmosphere of welcoming the new year, the program “Warm Porridge” No. 3 of the Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University continued to begin. On the evening of December 30, 2014, the volunteer students together cooked pots of nutritious rice porridge to give to the homeless and the families of patients at the Emergency Resuscitation Department of the National Burn Institute; hoping to share and help them feel warmer in the last days of the year.

The student gently placed the porridge box next to the old man sleeping at the ATM.

Since its launch, the “Warm Porridge” program of the Student Volunteer Team has completed 1/3 of its journey. With the enthusiastic spirit of youth and a compassionate heart, always wanting to help everyone, right from the first issue, the “Warm Porridge” program of the Student Volunteer Team has received a lot of support and attention from the teachers, leaders of the School; lecturers, students in the school and philanthropists in society.

Homeless elderly people were very touched when receiving porridge from students.

Students carry boxes of porridge along the streets to give to the homeless.

The Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team is one of the core forces of the University. Since its establishment, the members of the Team have always enthusiastically organized and participated in charity activities. Along with "Warm Porridge", the "Warm Wool" program in the "Warm Winter Love" activity of the Team is still being actively carried out by the members. Up to now, the "Warm Wool" program has nearly 100 wool scarves knitted by the students themselves. We can see the scene of female students gathering together on stone benches or flower gardens in the school yard with rolls of wool in their hands. The Student Volunteer Team will give those warm scarves to children in difficult circumstances in some remote villages.

The scarves knitted by students will be given to children in ethnic minority areas.

Currently, the Student Volunteer Team has many plans for charity programs in the first days of 2015. The small, meaningful actions of the Student Volunteer Team of Dai Nam University will impact the hearts of society.
