VUG 2021 draw results: Dai Nam University falls into the "easy" group, difficult to end the relationship with Foreign Trade University

VUG – Vietnam University Games is a student sports tournament organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association. The tournament is an opportunity for students from universities nationwide to compete in many subjects such as Futsal and Dance battle. This is a prestigious sports tournament, receiving much attention and expectation not only from Dai Nam University students in particular but also from the student community nationwide in general.

With the support, attention and consent of the Party Committee, the School Board of Directors, the Youth Union of Dai Nam University directed the Dai Nam University Men's Futsal team to participate in the 2021 National Student Sports Tournament for Futsal.

After a period of serious training, under the guidance of coach Han Ngoc Ha and assistant coach Nguyen Van Quy, the Dai Nam University futsal team has prepared both physically and mentally for the upcoming VUG 2021 season.

The school leaders advised the team to compete with the spirit of fair play to create a successful season.

Before the competition day, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the school directly met and shared with each player, encouraging their spirit. Dai Nam University Futsal Team is seriously preparing for the VUG 2021 tournament.

On April 8, 2021, at the 26/3 Central Youth Union Meeting Room (62 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), the Organizing Committee held a professional meeting for the tournament and then a drawing ceremony to divide the groups for the new season.

As a result of the draw, the “Orange Lions” were placed in Group F, including teams from Foreign Trade University, Phuong Dong University, and the Academy of Justice. All matches will take place at the Hanoi National University of Education Gymnasium – Address: 136 Xuan Thuy Street, Dich Vong Hau Ward, Cau Giay District.

In the first match, Dai Nam University will meet Phuong Dong again, the "Lions from Ha Dong" and Phuong Dong University created an exciting and dramatic score chase, unfortunately we lost 3 points in the last minutes. The two teams ended the match with a 2-2 draw in the first match.

Speaking of the opponents in Group F, in the second match, Dai Nam University will meet its fateful opponent, Foreign Trade University. This promises to be the most anticipated match for generations of Dai Nam students in the past and present.

In the final match of the group stage, Dai Nam University will host the Academy of Justice team. This will be the 3-point goal of Han Ngoc Ha's team.

With the participation of many famous and historic teams in student futsal, Dai Nam University aims to reach the round of 16 of the tournament.
