Nguyen Thanh Tam – YK 14.01 class was moved: “The practical experiences during the medical examination trip in Cao Bang helped me improve my communication skills and approach to patients. Each person has their own personality, not everyone is comfortable sharing their symptoms, underlying diseases, etc. That requires me to be proactive, skillful in asking, talking and building trust with them.”
Nguyen Quang Tung – class YK 15.01 shared: “This trip helped me have a more direct view of disease cases such as varicose veins in the legs, arms, etc. If I only studied theory, I certainly wouldn’t be able to imagine it. Grasping and understanding the disease cases also helps me more easily advise people.”
After completing the free medical examination and treatment for the people of Da Thong commune, the Dai Nam University Medical Team went to the Km 0 milestone of the historic Ho Chi Minh road - the starting point of the Fatherland in Cao Bang province and visited the Pac Bo relic site.
The medical examination and treatment volunteer trip of Dai Nam University Medical Group has ended, but the memories and valuable lessons are what remain in the mind of each member. Through this trip, the "future doctors" not only learned and practiced their profession but also had experiences and lessons rich in humanity, contributing to arousing the spirit of dedication of the young generation to the community and society.
