Vietnam Young Logistics Talent Competition 2023 - an intellectual playground for students who love logistics

With the goal of creating an intellectual playground, creating connections between Students - Lecturers - Enterprises, improving training quality and social awareness of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Dai Nam University has successfully organized the contest "Young Logistics Talents of Vietnam 2023".
The contest has attracted the attention of young people who are passionate about the field of Logistics. The mission of the contest is not only to find new “seeds” for the generation of talents in the Vietnamese Logistics industry but also to contribute to raising social awareness of the importance and benefits of developing the Logistics field to the country's economy.
The competition took place in 2 rounds: General Knowledge round and Eloquence round on an issue related to the field of Logistics and proposed solutions to improve the quality of operations. After the tense "chase" for scores in the General Knowledge round, the teams moved on to the Eloquence round. In this round, the teams demonstrated their understanding of Logistics issues and proposed solutions to solve the problem.
“Green Logistics” and “Digital Logistics” are the main topics of the teams this year. The Corgistics team brought “Application of the Windwings model in maritime transport activities in Vietnam”; the Lohat team with the topic “Green Machine – automatic can and bottle collection machine”; the Hanz team proposed “Model of battery collection/exchange station for Vinfast electric motorbikes”; the RL team brought the project “Optimizing the process of urban waste collection through the arrangement and use of smart trash bins”; the S-ATD team built “Software to support the purchase and distribution of plastic waste”; the Pioneer team designed “Model of collection and recycling of agricultural by-products”.
After 2 rounds, the three teams Lohat, Pioneer, Hanz excelled and won the highest rankings of the competition with the following achievements: Hanz team won Third Prize, Pioneer team won Second Prize and Lohat team won the Championship of the competition.

- Ms. Le Thanh Loan - Founder and Director of Gatelink Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Member of the Executive Committee and Head of the Hanoi Logistics Membership Board;
- Mr. Hoang Trong Kiem - Founder - CEO of SLS Vietnam Investment and Development Company Limited;
- Mr. Ngo Van Khiem - Co-founder of DDH Vietnam Global Logistics Co., Ltd., Founder of Itrain Import-Export and Logistics Training Center.
Besides, there is the attention and support of guest businesses: Mr. Nguyen Trung Duc - Director of Hanoi branch of WinWin Logistics Joint Stock Company;
- Ms. To Kim Oanh - Head of Sales Department, KTO Logistics Joint Stock Company;
- Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Huyen - Sales Logistics manager of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang area of Hop Nhat Joint Stock Company also showed the attractiveness and importance of the contest.
The judges commented and asked questions to the teams.
The results of the competition demonstrate the seriousness and efforts of the Organizing Committee and the support team, especially the training efforts of the Competition Teams as well as the enthusiastic support and encouragement of the audience, contributing to the success of the competition.
The teams received the final prize.
The Vietnam Logistics Young Talent Search 2023 contest has ended with many emotions from the teams. Representatives of the teams thanked the Organizing Committee for creating an interesting playground for students who love Logistics to participate in experiencing and learning the knowledge and professional working style of teachers in the Faculty. At the same time, the teams also thanked the instructors who enthusiastically supported the group in implementing the topic regardless of day or night.
The jury, business leaders and faculty took souvenir photos at the sun gate of Dai Nam University.
The students also did not forget to express their sincere thanks to all the staff and lecturers of the Faculty for their consultation sessions and support for the groups to realize their ideas. They expressed their hope that the Faculty will continue to create more useful playgrounds like this competition so that students of the Faculty as well as the school can study and develop further.
