University Pharmacist of Dai Nam University graduated with entrepreneurial spirit and innovation

That is the affirmation of Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University at the Workshop "Training Pharmaceutical Human Resources to Meet Social Needs & Signing Cooperation Agreements with Pharmaceutical Enterprises" held at Dai Nam University on December 24, 2022.
With the aim of enhancing the maximum experience between studying and working at enterprises; creating all favorable conditions to financially support students during their study at school, practice - internship at enterprises and support employment for students after graduation; training knowledge, fostering the development of thinking, creative entrepreneurial spirit for students majoring in Pharmacy, Dai Nam University organized the Workshop "Training Pharmaceutical Human Resources to Meet Social Needs and Signing Cooperation Agreements with Enterprises: Traphaco Sapa Joint Stock Company, Pharmaco Vietnam Strategy Consulting Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Pharmacy Association".
Attending the program, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council, Board of Directors, leaders, lecturers and student representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop and the signing ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son said: Along with Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy is the core training major of Dai Nam University. After 10 years of organizing training, the Pharmacy major of Dai Nam University has gradually affirmed its reputation and brand with output quality welcomed and recognized by businesses. Dai Nam's "ambition" is that Pharmacy graduates are not only good at professional knowledge, have solid professional skills, good foreign language and information technology skills, soft skills, discipline, health foundation... and good attitude welcomed by businesses, but also have the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry will not be able to develop if the successor team is not good.
Sharing at the workshop, Ms. Le Phuong Dung affirmed: The Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry will have no future if the successor team is not good. Therefore, training and developing quality pharmaceutical human resources to meet the needs of businesses is an extremely urgent issue.
Ms. Le Phuong Dung commented: Dai Nam University is doing a good job of training pharmaceutical human resources according to social needs.
With more than 15 years of experience in managing, recruiting and using human resources in the pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Le Phuong Dung pointed out the current situation of Vietnamese pharmaceutical students: Lack of formal knowledge, lack of practical experience, lack of soft skills, lack of career orientation, illusion of personal strength, passive when looking for a job, not accepting low starting salary, little experience but preferring to work for large enterprises...
Meanwhile, most pharmaceutical enterprises are in a state of shortage of human resources, especially experienced and senior personnel.
“Universities need to cooperate with businesses and short-term training institutions in training students. Specifically, universities must conduct surveys on business needs, increase practice, provide career orientation for students, and connect with businesses during the training process. Short-term training units will provide scholarships, tuition incentives, and connect students with businesses. Businesses will recruit interns, train them, and provide a career path. Students are eager to learn, actively engage in community exchanges, and proactively seek internship opportunities...” Ms. Le Phuong Dung shared.
Signing cooperation agreements with 03 businesses, creating a "real-life" environment right on campus for Pharmacy students

With the goal of creating an environment for Pharmacy students to gain practical experience in pharmaceutical research - production - business systems and prestigious short-term training units; expanding internship and employment opportunities for students after graduation; providing high-quality human resources, contributing to solving the human resource crisis of the Pharmacy industry, Dai Nam University continues to sign training cooperation agreements with Traphaco Sapa Joint Stock Company, Pharmaco Vietnam Strategic Consulting Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Pharmacy Association.
Pharmaco Vietnam is ready to accompany, support scholarships and tuition fees to train quality short-term courses for Pharmacy students with DNU.
With the signed cooperation agreements, graduate students and pharmacy students of Dai Nam University will have the opportunity to intern and gain practical experience at pharmacies under the Hanoi Pharmacy Association, Pharmaco Vietnam Strategy Consulting Joint Stock Company, Traphaco Sapa Joint Stock Company.
