This is the title of the internal training program for the academic year 2023 – 2024 at Dai Nam University.

"Learning For Change" has been the consistent motto and guiding principle of action for Dai Nam University for many years. In line with this principle and to adapt to the significant development of the University as well as to meet societal needs, Dai Nam University regularly organizes sharing sessions, exchanges of experiences, and professional development training to enhance the teaching capacity of its faculty and staff. This year, the internal training program for the academic year 2023 – 2024 took place from December 8th to 16th, featuring four major topics closely related to the needs of lecturers, and 4.0 Generation students.

 

Specifically, Dai Nam University conducted surveys to understand the desires, thoughts, and aspirations of students and make adjustments to DNU’s educational practices. This information served as a foundation for constructing training topics that align with the learners' needs and the development trends of society.


Through the internal training program of 2023 – 2024, faculty and staff will gain a better understanding of Dai Nam University students, enabling appropriate approaches in teaching practices according to the desires and needs of the students, enhancing the teaching skills and methods for educators while also fostering the development of scientific research capabilities among the faculties.


Simultaneously, it helps faculty and staff in obtaining a more comprehensive view of the University's strategies and developmental objectives. Consequently, this helps in constructing, refining, and cultivating a synchronized and consistent Dai Nam University culture aligned with the Brand Identity Guidelines, thereby establishing standards for the faculty and staff of Dai Nam University.


The internal training program for the academic year 2023 – 2024 not only helps faculty members and lecturers in enhancing their professional qualifications and gaining additional beneficial knowledge to support teaching, learning, and scientific research, but also fosters the connection of each individual with the University. It maximizes the potential, creativity, and autonomy of all individuals working and teaching at the University, all aimed at the continuous enhancement of the quality of education and the perpetual growth of Dai Nam University.

The internal training program for the academic year 2023 – 2024 comprises four main topics:

Topic 1: Identifying the Characteristics of Dai Nam University Students and Establishing Standards for Dai Nam University Faculty and Staff presented by Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of the University Council and Vice-Rector of Dai Nam University.

 
Ms. Cao Thi Hoa will directly lead Topic 1: Identifying the Characteristics of Dai Nam University Students and Establishing Standards for Dai Nam University Faculty and Staff.


Topic 2: Teaching Methods at the University will be presented by Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Rector, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy – Dean of the Faculty of Soft Skills Training and Development


Specifically, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong will share insights on classroom management, student management, creating quality lesson plans and contents, effective methods of assessment and evaluation, etc.


Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy will provide specific guidance on proactive teaching methods suitable for Gen Z students.


Topic 3: Designing Presentation Slides will be conducted by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy.


Topic 4: Research Methods in Science will be presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai from the National Economics University.


The internal training program for the academic year 2023 – 2024 will take place from December 8th to 16th. All faculty members are kindly invited to participate in full accordance with the issued schedule.
