Training to improve the capacity of staff and lecturers is an annual activity of Dai Nam University to build a team of professional, skilled and enthusiastic staff and lecturers; at the same time, orienting the development focus to raise awareness and responsibility of employees for the place where they are attached and working. This year, the training week for staff, lecturers and employees of Dai Nam University took place from August 2 to 12 at the University's Great Hall.

The training plan for the beginning of the school year for officers, lecturers and staff of Dai Nam University revolves around 7 topics:

1. School construction and development strategy for the period 2022 - 2023;

2. Work plan for the 2022-2023 school year and some principles in management and operation of the Board of Directors;

3. Some issues on labor regulations, work culture and orientation of communication, enrollment and student work for the 2022-2023 school year;

4. Some key issues in training management for the 2022-2023 school year;

5. Teaching Methods and Technology 4.0;

6. Learning and University in the new context;

7. Innovative University Model and Higher Education Ranking: Trends in Vietnam and the World.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council directly shared about the Development Strategy of Dai Nam University for the period 2022 - 2030.

At the opening of the Training Week for staff, lecturers and employees at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University directly shared about the development strategy and action policies of the University in the new period. Specifically: The period 2022 - 2030 is a period of fierce competition in Vietnamese higher education, Dai Nam University needs to restructure to survive and develop in the new period. Accordingly, the development strategy of Dai Nam University in the period 2022 - 2030 focuses on building a learning ecosystem for students to create a long-term competitive advantage through differentiation.

At the topic of the 2022-2023 school year work plan, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal of the University pointed out the strengths, weaknesses as well as opportunities and challenges of Dai Nam University in the new period. From there, specific solutions were proposed for each issue, from training programs, textbooks - documents, development cooperation to the management system, lecturers, students...

At the same time, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Hong proposed to build a Code of Conduct at Dai Nam University. In which, the Rector emphasized that the standard code of conduct for Dai Nam people must be "Real": Real teaching - real learning - implementation - real ability - real work - real value. These are prerequisites to build a team of cadres and lecturers with good expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication to the cause of "growing people".

“To gain the trust of learners, we must first know how to improve and train ourselves, from professional qualifications to behavior. When we unify our style, ideology and awareness, we can go far and develop sustainably…” , Mr. Hong commented.

At the training session, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of the University clarified the topics of labor regulations, working culture and orientation of communication, enrollment, and student affairs for the 2022-2023 school year. Accordingly, Ms. Hoa emphasized the role and importance of the Admissions Department, Student Affairs, Political Administration and Personnel, Communications Department... in developing and expanding the brand of Dai Nam University. Thereby, the Vice Principal hopes that the Faculties will focus on and promote coordination with the Departments and Offices of the University in communication and enrollment work.

In particular, Ms. Hoa directed cadres, lecturers and employees to practice thrift and avoid loss and waste in teaching, recruiting staff and using the school's common assets.

“If we are united and unanimous, there is nothing we cannot do,” Ms. Hoa shared.

With the topic Some key issues in training management for the new school year, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal of the School summarized the training work of the 2021 - 2022 school year; at the same time, proposed key tasks for the 2022 - 2023 school year.

Through each topic, the staff, lecturers and employees had a more comprehensive view of the training, enrollment, communication and development focus of Dai Nam University in the period of 2022 - 2032. From there, each individual will be more aware of studying, improving professional qualifications, accumulating more useful knowledge to support teaching, learning and scientific research.

In addition, the training activities at the beginning of the year also help connect the staff, lecturers and employees with the University; maximize the potential capacity, creativity and autonomy of all individuals working and teaching at the University, all for the goal of constantly improving the quality of training and constantly growing of Dai Nam University.
