Training week for staff and lecturers for the 2015 - 2016 school year

Improving the quality of university education is an important and urgent task of Vietnamese universities today. Improved training quality will meet the recruitment needs of society, especially management agencies and businesses, to promote rapid and sustainable economic growth in Vietnam. At the same time, improving the quality of university education contributes particularly important and decisive to the long-term development of the whole country and the Vietnamese people.

Entering the new school year 2015-2016, with the desire to bring the best training quality to students, Dai Nam University organized a Training Week for all staff and lecturers of the school to evaluate Dai Nam's activities after 8 years, development strategy from 2015 - 2020 - 2030; deploying active teaching methods, lecture content must be closely linked to practice in the school year 2015-2016 and policies to develop the school's staff and lecturers.

Training program with full participation of school staff and lecturers

The program took place at 56 Vu Trong Phung, starting from August 18 (Tuesday) and will end on August 21, 2015 (Friday). Chaired by Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the School with the participation of a large number of staff and lecturers, the training program has the following specific contents:

With the topic "Development strategy of Dai Nam University for the period 2015 - 2020" presented by Dr. Le Dac Son, he received high consensus from all staff and lecturers of the school about the strategic vision of a teacher - a leader. In the face of the current situation of Vietnamese education with many shortcomings and lack of healthy competition between public and private schools, Dr. Le Dac Son completely believes in the training process of the school: "With the training process focusing on skills of Dai Nam University, I believe that Dai Nam University will create a workforce with knowledge, comprehensive in both expertise and working skills" . Dai Nam University is one of the first universities to boldly innovate teaching methods, training students not only to be good at their profession, proficient in foreign languages but also in soft skills. With that innovation, Dai Nam University has been evaluated by the Ministry of Education and Training as "a dynamic university".

On the second working day of the training week, the school's staff and lecturers participated fully and seriously.

In the following days, the training program will continue with lectures by the school leaders on issues related to teaching and student management in the new school year. The training week is an opportunity for all staff and lecturers of the school to sit together, review and contribute ideas on innovating active teaching methods and improving the training quality of Dai Nam University, in order to train a team of bachelors and engineers who have enough knowledge and skills to work in agencies and enterprises; confident enough to graduate and establish their own careers, become good managers and successful businessmen in the future.
