Let's discuss teaching skills
Participating in the training course, Dr. Le Dac Son shared: “The training program for staff and lecturers is an indispensable activity of Dai Nam University before the new school year. Participating in the training course, teachers not only have the opportunity to sit together, exchange and discuss to come up with positive teaching methods. The training course is also an opportunity for the school to help teachers improve their qualifications, skills, teaching and management. I believe that after participating in the training course, many teaching skills and management skills will be applied by teachers to students, creating excitement for them right from the first lesson of the new school year.”

Dr. Le Dac Son, Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Trong Phuc participated in the training class, discussed with staff and lecturers about active teaching methods.
Teachers are put in the position of students, the position of a leader to understand the aspirations of students, and the difficulties of leaders in managing units and classes.
At the end of two days of training, MSc. Nguyen Thi Thuy, a young lecturer of the Faculty of Business Administration, excitedly shared: “ First of all, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Board of Directors and the School Board for creating opportunities for staff and lecturers to participate in learning and improving their teaching skills in a very interesting and useful training class. Through the course, our staff and lecturers have understood and practiced many active teaching methods and techniques, which can be chosen to apply in their lectures. Many teaching methods were presented, I was most impressed with the project-based teaching method. This is a very useful method for students of the Faculty of Business Administration. In particular, the Faculty of Business Administration itself has applied this method to teaching the subject of Marketing and achieved very good results. This method helps students promote their creativity, initiative, and creates excitement for them in the subject.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan, lecturer of the Accounting Department, shared: “After two days of attending the training course, we lecturers have learned and improved our knowledge to renew ourselves. Previously, I also applied some active teaching methods but it was just a patchwork, without any specific rules. The course not only provides and systematizes knowledge about active teaching methods but also provides a premise and motivation for lecturers to understand and apply them correctly in their lectures.”
The issue of improving professional skills and teaching skills for lecturers, managers, etc. is one of the important tasks of Dai Nam University. The school always determines that the quality of advanced training will meet the recruitment needs of society, especially management agencies and businesses. On August 17 and 18, the second training program will continue with the staff and lecturers of the remaining faculties.
