Sports economics and marketing (SEM) is growing and becoming an important field in the socio-economic life of countries. According to experts, the demand for human resources and the development potential of SEM in Vietnam are very large. Anticipating the trend of human resources in society, in the 2022-2023 school year, Dai Nam University (DNU) will enroll 100 students in the Sports Management (STM) major - SEM. To ensure the effectiveness of the application-oriented training program, students can do internships at businesses right from the first year, and can work immediately after graduation. Recently, Dai Nam University successfully organized the "Scientific Workshop on Training to Meet Social Needs in the SEM" major and signed a training cooperation agreement with 7 large sports enterprises.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University said : "With the experience and training reputation in recent years, Dai Nam University opens the Sports Management major - major in Sports Management and Communication with the ambition to solve the shortage of human resources in Sports Management and Communication; implementing the policy of the Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Education and Training on solving the problem of communication, promoting sports, the image of the country - Vietnamese people reaching out to the international arena to build sustainable development values in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution..."

Accordingly, the Sports Management major - major in Economics and Marketing of Dai Nam University equips students with knowledge and skills in sports service business management; Management and operation of sports club business; Financial consultant and sports market exploitation; Media management, sports event organization...

With the applied training program, students majoring in Economics and Marketing at Dai Nam are able to practice and experience businesses right from the first semester and throughout the entire course to ensure that they can work immediately after graduation, and businesses do not have to retrain them.
