I. FUNCTION

The Training Department has the function of advising and assisting the Principal in managing, organizing and implementing training activities including: Training plans, programs, learning materials, teaching organization and ensuring teaching quality according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Dai Nam University.

II. TASKS

1. Training development work

1.1. Coordinate with units to develop projects to open training programs

1.2. Guide training units on procedures, forms, processes for building and developing new training majors and majors, developing training programs, teaching and learning methods, and detailed course outlines.

1.3. Preside over and coordinate with relevant units to develop and submit to the Principal for promulgation training management documents. Propose to the Principal to promulgate regulations on management of the training process at university training levels.

1.4. Unified management of training program names and frameworks; major and specialization codes; course codes of all majors, specializations and courses being trained.

1.5. Standing Council and Committees assisting the Admissions Council, Examination Council and Graduation Recognition Council for all levels and forms of training.

1.6. Manage training cooperation with schools, universities, and other domestic and foreign partners.

2. Admissions

2.1. Determine enrollment targets, coordinate with units in developing annual enrollment plans;

2.2. Coordinate with relevant parties to develop a recruitment plan.

2.3. Take charge of receiving and arranging students admitted to majors according to school regulations and under the management authority of the department. Hand over class lists to majors. Manage student records.

2.4. Responsible for organizing entrance exams for associate degree and master's degree.

3. Implement training activities

3.1. Develop processes, regulations and forms related to training;

3.2. Develop and submit to the Principal for approval the school year plan; coordinate with Faculties, Institutes, and Centers to establish teaching and learning schedules and final exam schedules for assigned training levels.

3.3. Manage and store entrance and graduation exam papers and scores; store process scores and course scores of all levels and training forms.

3.4. Coordinate with units to organize opening ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, and citizen activity weeks.

3.5. Resolve petitions and complaints about class schedules, exam schedules, and academic results.

3.6. Coordinate with the Student Affairs Department to organize inspections and supervision of teaching activities, implementation of teachers' working regimes, and compliance with training regulations of students and trainees.

3. 7. Be the focal point for reviewing the School's scholarships: scholarships to encourage talent, encourage learning, and scholarships for high-quality classes.

3.8. Detailed statistics of training activities, serving the management work of the Department and the School.

4. Consideration of recognition of learning outcomes

4.1. Coordinate with relevant units to consider and recognize foreign language input and output standards and graduation conditions for learners. Consider graduation and grant graduation certificates for all levels and forms of training.

4.2. The focal point proposes to the Principal to consider academic matters: Students transferring, transferring, considering academic warning, moving up a grade, stopping studying, and dropping out of school for full-time students.

5. Quality control work

5.1. Participate in educational institution quality assessment activities, improve quality after external assessment of the educational institution.

5.2. Participate in training program quality assessment activities.

6. Training budget management

6.1. Assessment and confirmation of lecturers' teaching hours for training levels and other forms of training with degrees.

6.2. Plan training costs by semester and school year.

7. Issuance of diplomas, certificates and certifications

7.1. Prepare documents for purchasing and using diploma and certificate blanks.

7.2. Manage diploma and certificate blanks and preside over and coordinate with relevant units to carry out procedures for granting graduation diplomas of all training levels and issuing certificates of schools licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training. Verify the legality of high school academic results and diplomas of students and trainees.

7.3. Verify information on issued diplomas, certificates and certifications.

8. Reporting - statistics - storage

8.1. Periodic reporting to regulatory agencies. Public reporting of training facilities.

8.2. Prepare statistical reports related to training work.

8.3. Archive records related to training work according to regulations in Circular 27/2016 dated December 30, 2016 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

9. Coordinate with units in the School to perform tasks related to the scope of work of the Training Department. Perform other tasks assigned by the Principal.
